A curtain rod, is just a curtain rod, right? - Not if you've ever encountered some bad ones... ;) These are quality, well dyed and tapped for smaller rods and they are easy to install and use, and they last!

Based on prior reviews & prior purchases, I wasn't sure if these would fit my 1" curtain rod and on both ends; 1 end, of the rod, is a tad smaller than 1" vs. the other being 1". But, yes I tried these brackets out and AS SOON AS I RECEIVED THEM and they fit BOTH ends, of my 1" metal higher-end quality curtain rod!! I say this, since Amazon closes their return period and after 30 days. I've learned, from past experience, and try everything on / out / whatever WHEN IT'S RECEIVED. The metal is thick, heavy, and a true flat pewter silver finish - as described. They extend out far and as needed, for roller shades that are attached ON THE WINDOW FRAME and not "inside" of it. Would purchase again!

They’re more silver than satin nickel which is not bad since they sort of blend but really wish they’re more satin Nickel like it advertises rather than glossy silver. I had to buy 2 sets because I needed 3. Therefore I have an unused one. Would have been better if there’s an option of 3 brackets a set rather than just 2 a set. When you have a wide window, you’ll need 3 to have that middle support.
