I bought 3 and returned all 3. I was only refunded for 1 . They boost but drop speed significantly less than 10mbs.

Installation was not easy. Set up took way longer than expected. It boosts the signal but not as much as we expected.

I was honestly blown away by the difference in cell reception around my house. Set up was a breeze and once we turned everything on I got like 2-3 extra bars of service and instead of only getting 4G in my house I now get 5G UC which is like 20 times faster at minimum. I definitely recommend getting one of these if you have issues with service in or around your house or building.

Updated review from 5 star to 1 star:A few days after the 30 days return, my booster stopped working. I tried multiple times to reach Chatinf but never heard back from them. Thankfully, Amazon took it back after the 30 days return period.Our cabin is in a rural location, about one and a half miles from the nearest cell tower, across trees/forest, hindering cell coverage. Both AT&T and Verizon provide only 1 bar outside, resulting in dropped calls, delayed texts, and slow/no data. I received this signal booster, initially testing it with positive results before mounting it. Placing the outdoor antenna on the garage peak and routing cables through the attic improved our signal to 3-4 bars on the main floor and even 2 bars on the back deck. Mounting considerations include the being aware of the required distance between outdoor and indoor antennas, their orientation, and the need for a power source. This is not a directional antenna, so you don't need to point in any particular area, just as high as you can get it. I preferred that to driving and finding where the tower in my area is.

Earlier units were more limited in bands the they could capture and boost which meant you had to carefully match the booster to the phone type. If you changed companies, there was a real chance you had to get a new unit—I know from experience. Most of the earlier models had antennas that were highly directional. If tower location changed, you were back up on the roof adjusting position. This unit should minimize those things, but for some it has a fatal flaw: the INSTALLATION APP is ANDROID ONLY. Nowhere do I find one is warned of this on the product page. There may be work arounds for this, but for the premium price of this unit, one should have ease of installation for all phones. So I’m not going to say much more because I’m not installing it until an Apple friendly version becomes available. Two stars off for lack of Apple version of their set up software, another Star off for failure to alert the consumer of it before purchase.

Needed help with set up but once done correctly it did boost my signal, I live in an area where my service isn’t the best, so this definitely helped and I noticed a better internet speed.

I have tested many boosters and all have helped.We live in the woods, surrounded by 100'+ pine trees.We have a Verizon MIFI for our internet.This booster took our signal from 2 to 4 bars which is huge for us more than doubling our speeds.Installing and setting up a booster is not difficult.Running the wires takes the most time depending on your installation.I have our antenna mounted on a 20' pole which takes it above our roof line.You do need to tune the antenna to your nearest tower which is easy to do using your cell phone and only takes minutes.You need to understand these boosters, all of them, need a basic signal to work, they boost a signal, not create it.When out signal drops to 1 bar this booster or any other booster do not work.You have to have a good basic signal to start with.If you need more signal you need to give a booster a try.I would buy again.5 STARS
