We bought w a few years back for our young toddlers. 3ish years later and they've held up great. We've never used the leash, but our kids run apund with them daily. Perfect size for toddler.

This product is much higher quality than expected! Super tough materials and really durable for busy toddlers.Child was super happy with it and the fit was perfect for a 2.5 year old with room to grow. Very adjustable with straps and child seems super comfortable in it.Backpack is light weight but still holds a ton of stuff and is versatile for play as well as walks/hikes etc.We have not used the leash part but it seems to be the same quality, it’s just not needed. The handle on the back has been adequate for whenever evened to grab our child quickly for safety.Lastly this was super affordable for the quality you get.

I love how cute this bag is. It comes with longer leash to help "control" runaway babies. While it can't help with toddlers throwing themselves on the ground, it's great for reminding them of their limits. I took both this handler and our toddler a few uses to learn the limits of the back pack leash, but at the very least toddler can haul their own snacks now! (Even if I end up carrying said toddler) We fit a small fidget toy, 12oz cup, 2 apple scauce packets, a diaper and small pack of wipes!lHandle on back was more helful than I expected. I do wonder if a lower placed loop for the leash would improve the situation, along with a crotch strap. (Pack with horizontal strap in place, would pull up to arm pits as resistance was applied lessening effectiveness). Our girl is on the small side (20lbs) fit may improve as she grows.

The CFX Toddler Backpack Leash (Pink Butterfly) is a practical and cute solution for parents looking to keep their toddlers safe while allowing them some independence. Designed for ages 2-4, the backpack features a fun butterfly design that children will love, while the attached leash and safety handle provide peace of mind for parents. The leash is adjustable and comfortable, making it easy to secure and control without being restrictive. It's ideal for crowded places or outings where a child’s safety is a concern. Overall, this toddler leash is a reliable, fun, and functional accessory for parents on the go.

So I literally JUST got this, ordered about 24 hours ago. My first impressions is that it's absolutely adorable. The quality is really nice. Not a crazy amount of padding in the back and straps but also not super thin. It fits my 14 month old gremlin with the straps all the way tightened. Though I think if they struggled and wiggled they could still slip out of it. The chest buckle is actually a lot lower than I thought. It more of goes around my gremlins stomach, lower chest. Definitely be cautious as it's meant for 3-6 year old, I can see a lot of safety concerns for my 1 year old but I expected that and I plan on using it with caution. I was skeptical with the ring being on top instead of the bottom but in the description it says it's meant to catch them falling so they don't face plant the ground. I thought if it was an issue of my gremlin bolting with it around their neck, I'll just wrap the leash part around the back handle or use the leash closer to my body so I have more control.Went on a quick walk around the neighborhood and I like it a lot! My complaint is that the straps rub on his neck and the fabric there is rough. Though that might be because he's 1 and its meant for 3-6. Also since I tightened it all the way, the straps are loose and touch the ground a lot. They also can't wiggle out of it, maybe if they were a bigger struggler they might be able to get out.I have horrible anxiety with going in public with my gremlin. They are so independent and a big explorer. I don't want to discourage that, I just want to teach them to be respectful and safe. With this it feels like I have a hand on them at all times I also now have a handle to grab them easier if they boltUpdate: okay it's been, about a month since I bought this. I still love the bag. My two complaint is there's fuzz coming out of the horns and the tail at the seams. The other complaint is the tether being at the top versus at the bottom. With both of us learning how to use the backpack, he tends to tug at it which brings everything up on him. It doesn't choke him but it does look uncomfortable. If it was at the bottom it would just tug down and away from his neck area actually. That's my biggest complaint. I really wish the tether was near the tail area instead of the neck. Also. It's definitely early to walk around in public with him on this backpack leash. It's definitely something you have to teach before it's effective in public for how little he is. I think if he was a little bit older and I can Tell him directions he can follow. This would be easier in public. I still enjoy it as it does help in some occasions and a lets me bring toys in his bag versus in my diaper bag. I also enjoy that I can hold on to him in places other than his clothes. He doesn't like physical contact so I normally hold on to his pants or I force him to hold my hand but now I can just hold him in place with his backpack.

Very cute and seems sturdy but it's too small for my pre-k girl. I'll keep it for my two year old, since it has a leash that is much needed. Otherwise, it's way too small for a preschooler (will only fit change of cloth and a small bottle of water).
