This works really good for a strong and stubborn doggy. I dont like the collars that have the barbs on the inside. I heard they dont hurt the dog but out pup is super strong and doesnt know her strength yet. The cloth collars would snap so this was a perfect collar for her. It tightens around her neck when she pulls so it will help her break that habit faster. It also is tough so we dont have to worry about it snapping. It's something we desperately needed. 10/10

I have always used Link Chain Training Collars for obedience training exercises and for casual walking my two German Shepherds. My current Link Chain Training Collar for my three-year-old female has become too small so I ordered this Serijoars Heavy Duty Metal Slip Link Choke (does not choke dog) Chain Collar - Size XL (Neck Max 22 inches).As you can see in pictures this is a Heavy Duty thicker and larger chain than the normal smaller collar link chains one can purchase in any local pet supply store. I like the No Rust Link Chain qualities this collar chain has as well as the length and the two proportional loops securely attached at the end of each of the two ends.When making a proper Dog Collar with this link chain one must identify which loop will be the dedicated DEAD Loop end and which end will be the LIVE Loop end. It is always important to make note that the LIVE Loop and its chain link will always be topside of the dog – Think of making a letter P with the link chain if walking a dog on one’s right side, if normal walking is done with dog on left side, then the chain will have a number 9 resemblance.It may sound complicated making a dog collar using a Training Link Chain Collar – just remember the P is for the right-side walking and number 9 is for walking a dog on the left-side of one’s body.It is easy to check if done properly the collar link chain will instantly release its pressure when slack is given in the link chain. If done improperly the link chain will not release its tightness/grip (chain will not choke dog but will remain firm in place).This Training Link Chain was the perfect step up in size and weight, my German Shepherds know when it is time for walking or training just by the sounds of the link chain and are always excited when it comes time to put these types of collars on.

With an untrained 4-year-old Shelter Rescue who weights 70 pounds of pure powerful muscle, I needed a collar which would stop him from dragging my 'old' 110-pound body through the neighborhood on our walks. This Chain Choke Collar works great. It is thick, very durable, fits my dog perfectly and keeps me safe because he is under control. Now, he only gets excited when he sees his Chain Collar come out because he knows he is going for a walk. There is no more darting out the door since he knows I will pull back on the chain collar to stop him and while we are still working on the heel command, he is not pulling me and mostly walks beside me.This is a great buy and very effective for training a dog which is powerful and difficult to control. Highly recommend.

This is a very nice quality Chain Choke Collar for dogs. It's as good as they get. There's nothing to not like about this collar. It's a good sturdy metal link chain collar that will hold up as good as any other. It's a definite recommend and hope you enjoy!

Despite being four years old already and coming in at roughly 110lbs, my dog still has to master to art of tandem walking with me, on a leash. She gets distracted easily when were out and loves to get me doing the tangled tango with her, especially when using a rope leash. I got this chain collar to hopefully ease her into training of not pulling when on a leash, and to use it along with a retractable leash. Needless to say, I've had huge success!✅ HEAVY DUTY: right away, just as it was still in the packaging, you can feel the weight of the metal chain, and it is undeniably a lot heavier than your average and a lot stronger, as well. it still perfectly loops and serves it's purpose as a choke chain though, it just stirs more snug around the dog's neck since the weight of it, doesn't allow the excess slack in the chain to sag or hang loose, especially when attached to a leash. this is great for bigger breeds and those dogs that don't really respond to the gentler type of training and require a more hands-on type of training.✅ PERFECT FIT: i ordered the 22" inch and it fits perfectly on my dog. there is more than a 3-finger space between her neck and the chain and there's about 3" inches of slack when its sitting high on her neck and attached to a leash. it fits smoothly over her head, but not loose enough that she is able to wiggle herself out of it.✅ EFFECTIVE TRAINING TOOL: i was using a single slip leash to train her before, but decided to get a separate collar to reinforce her training and instead of getting those training collars that have prongs protruding all around the inside of the collar, i opted for a simple choke chain collar and it has had major success. she no longer pulls hard when walking and even when there is the slightest amount of resistance in the leash and collar, she will stop and redirect exactly in whatever direction or way that I request of her. of course, in combination with verbal commands and ultimately, rewards, too.◼ OVERALL RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS ————————————————♡》》》 IN SUMMARY: i guess i don't really have any other choice but to give this collar the full five STARS because it has definitely served it's purpose and function, extremely well. it has held up to her 110lbs pulling (very hard), yanking in all directions, and has taken a decent amount of beating after being dragged on the asphalt and banged against the hard floor a few times. this is definitely a heavy duty chain and has a decent amount of weight to the chain itself. i very highly recommended this collar, especially if you have a large breed dog that you take on walks. any pulling or tanking will immediately be responded to with this being a choke chain, and it's far, far, better (and more humane) than the spikey training collars out there on the market. ♡
