Not worth the "metal" it's made of. In fact pretty dangerous overall.The hex screws that control the movement up and down will become lose after hardly any riding, with that arm lose it grabs right into the chain ring causing in my case damage to my 60$ chain ring and tossing me nearly over the bars.Do not buy this garbage, you will get hurt.

Well built fits nice and super easy to install even with an oval chain ring . No more chain drops. Would recomend.

I converted from a 2x10 to a 1x10. My chain popped off so I figured this would work work with my setup which is a 11-50t and a 30t narrow wide up front with a Shimano XT MT-800 BB. The 30t is too small because the chain guide will rub the four bolts that attach the chainring to the cranks if you attempt to set the guide as directed. The actual guide piece and shims are made of generic plastic but the rest is metal if anyone is wondering. I'm sure if I had a 32t or larger this would've worked fine. Hopefully my configuration will help you decide if it'll work for you.

I love the chain guide but it was more work then I had planned as my bottom bracket was not wanting to loosen up. Either way it is on and love the look

For a standard aluminum or steel frame with a simple cylindrical bottom bracket, there should be no issues.I have a carbon frame with a bonded aluminum insert for the threaded bottom bracket, and the carbon increases the size of the bottom bracket shell by quite a lot. The "lip" on the back of the chainguide plate interferes with the bottom bracket shell, and I could not get it to sit flush. I ended up having to spend a significant amount of effort to grind off the lip, after which it seemed the plate lost a significant amount of stiffness.In terms of actual chainguide performance, I have no complaints. It looks good when installed and I haven't been able to drop the chain at all.
