I've put lenscoat lens covers on all of my long lenses, for most of them, I have left off a cover or two for optimum use, ie there weren't cut outs for buttons etc. Or the focus ring didn't feel right to cover it. With chasing birds, there are cut outs for the button, there are numbers to know the order. When you pull lenscoat cover out, you kind of go by size, the numbers made it great. I also like the strap that covers the controls vs the plastic cover that is hard to manipulate through on the lenscoat. I will buy from the company again. Very impressed. I only bought because lenscoat didn't have this lens cover produced yet. Oh, the reed pattern looks just like my real tree max 5 that I have on all my other long lenses. I rarely give reviews, but this one impressed me enough to do so.

Setting it up is a breeze, and this product is truly excellent. I highly recommend it for anyone fortunate enough to own the Sony 300mm f2.8 GM lens.
