For $13.99, my expectations were pretty low.I needed to cut a block of cheese into very small cubes to make deer brats.This thing worked great! It even has a ruler right on the board. Even though it's in cm. We're cutting cheese here , not building a rocket.I was able to cut relatively small pieces that worked just fine.

This cheese slicer is really beautiful with the marble base and chrome slicer handle. I bought it for a hostess gift, and took it to the party with some cheese so the hostess could use it right away. It was a big hit and several people asked where I got it! It says it can be used with soft cheese, and that is definitely the best option...harder cheeses will likely break the wire. I used a nice smoked gouda, and it worked perfectly. The quality is really nice, and it's very well-made. I also think it's a great value for the price. I recommend it!

You will be surprised at how well this cheese slicer is made! It looks nice enough set out on your table for guests to use. I’ve always wanted one, and I use this one a lot. It’s very sturdy. It makes slices so much more uniformly than doing them by hand, making it easy to create attractive appetizers. Also makes a perfect gift for cheese lovers or for someone who has everything.
