I got some of these adaptors to put small cables on my large Chiaogoo bamboo needles. Small cables are big enough thickness for most everything so far. When I bought the bamboo needles it was the small set, and I added a few large needles later. I also bought some small/mini adaptors to use mini cables on the small bamboo needles. The connector options are nice, because Chiaogoo puts three different size connectors on their needles, and the cost of cables to fit them all can really add up.

The product itself is fine quality, however, I bought them on recommendation of a knitting related Reddit post.These do not fit the Boye Needle Master kits. Also, since the dimensions that actually matter (the screws that connect to the needles) aren't actually listed I figured I would post them here for anyone in the same predicament I am. The inside diameter is 3mm and the screw ends is 2 mm diameter.

These adapters are a perfect fit so I can use my larger needle tips with the small size cables. The joins are perfectly tight with no gaps. Quality product.

I didn't want to buy all new cables for the two sets of larger needles I have.... so I got these. huge money saver, and easy to use. just make sure you tighten with the key or they'll unscrew, just like the cables do. Transition over the yarn is fairly smooth (though nothing is as smooth as a joined needle)

I have the set of 5” ChiaoGoo interchangeable needles that have needle sizes 2-8. This serves me well since that is usually the size range I use. Of course, I received a commission that required size 9 so decided to see if this would work and it did. I first bought a connector that was not made for this set but finally got the right one. Now I can extend my kit if I want to. I made a somewhat heavy afghan using the connector and never had a loosening of the needles or any snags throughout the project. Can’t say enough about this whole set. I have several interchangeable sets but different yarns respond to different type of needles. So far, I have been using this set exclusively unless the yarn is very slippery. Highly recommend.
