The CP7900 is a great buy for the money. I was in the market for an air saw, but didn't want to spend 300+ on a Snapon piece. I can honestly saw this saw was worth buying, and it saved me a ton of money. I put it right to work cutting through quarter panels, wheel tubs, and rocker panels. Not quite as smooth as my coworkers Snapon saw, but cuts well and gets the job done. Seems to be made very well, but is not made in the U.S. I would give it 5 stars, but I'm waiting to see how it lasts in the long run.

Great saws, you can't beat these little buzz saws for cutting, you can almost carve with them. The only down side is they do vibrate a lot but that is with all this type.I used to have an old horrible freight saw and it was good but didn't last. This saw is much better built and all metal.

There's no such thing as a cheap air saw. Even the cheapest there are sell for around $50 or so. That being said, it's absolutely nuts not to spend a little more for a decent saw. Chicago Pneumatic is my favorite company for air tools. The quality is great, and the price is better.I bought this specifically for one cut I had to make while patching a rust hole inside the wheel well of my car. The area was too tight and angled weird so that I couldn't fit my cuto off tool in there. I was inside the wheel well within 5 minutes of this tool coming in, and 1 minute later the cut was done and I was grinning.I look back and wonder how many hours I would have saved using this over a cut off tool. It won't completely replace one, but man is this nice. Fast controlled cuts, tight radii bends, no sparks shooting out, etc.The only downside to these tools, is that blades are pricey no matter who you buy from. If you're cutting metal do yourself a favor and always use bimetal blades for your tools. Don't cheap out and get carbon steel if you see them, they just don't last.

I ordered this product with a very specific job in mind. I'd been looking for a way to cut baseboard and shoe molding in place beside using the "other" pricey tool, to save time on some interior trim upgrades I'm doing in my home. A mini recip saw seemed like a pretty good approach to the problem. As it turns out, this tool does a FINE job (pun intended) just as planned. It is small and light has a short, controllable stroke and runs long enough on my 3gal compressor to make a full cut before the compressor cycles. With a little practice, I was cleanly buzzing right through my molding cuts. The results are not chop saw clean, but with a little care, they can be very good enough. Can't speak for service life. But, with this saw, I was able to do exactly what I was hoping. Excellent tool.
