Ordered this to help secure some extra areas of our coop that really need some reinforcement, and this has been perfect for that! Was also able to give some left over to my mom who used it to help make a trellis for his plants in her garden this summer and while I never thought of that- it has worked wonderfully for that as well! Sturdy and durable it's definitely able to handle what ever project you throw at it, and it's easy to work with as well! I would definitely recommend!

This will keep out any pesky varmints from your garden plots or your chickens. I can't imagine any critter being able to gnaw it's way through this. I put it on the wall of any holes that I find

This small roll of 1/4" hardware cloth turned out very handy for small projects. I used it on a ferrocement pond frame for a plastic-liner-free pond I'm attempting. The material is sturdy, yet bendable. I have it layered in my photos with other types of wire fencing (like chickenwire), and this one is on the bottom as a sturdy supportive layer.

Gulimirror Hardware Cloth 1/4 Inch 16 X 10 Ft 23 Gauge Galvanized After Welding Chicken Wire Fencing Hot Dip Galvanized Chicken Wire Mesh Roll Garden Plant Vegetables Fence Poultry Snake Rabbit Cage,$19.99.This 1/4" mesh x 16" high x 10 ' long galvanized chicken wire fencing came packaged in a nice tight roll.It might take some effort to lay it out flat, but I will be using in a round configuration, so it lends itself nicely for that use.It might be a little bit less economical purchasing in this small amount, but it is a very handy size to work, when doing smaller projects. It is hot dipped galvanized, so should not rust, and I am hoping that it will last a long time. The 1/4" mesh size is small enough to keep mice and voles out of vegetable garden plants, unless they climb over the top of it. We will see if they climb over the top or not.Depending on the size of the plant, there is enough length to surround and protect a plant or two.I also use this to cover the air intake on my vehicles (that have open air intakes) which keeps the squirrels and mice from dropping seeds, nuts, spruce cones down the air intakes and plugging up the air filters.I have used this method successfully for quite a few years now, after having problems with the squirrels and mice previously.

This is hardware cloth will go on a chicken coop. It's very strong and I haven't found any flaws in my roll. The price is competitive with rolls we find at our local feed store. I like that it's been trimmed so there are no wires sticking out. I can't tell you how many times we've been stabbed by untrimmed hardware cloth wires while trying to unroll and flatten it. Galvanized is the only way to go. Keeps chickens coops very secure, better than chicken-wire. It's easy to connect cut panels together with small zip-ties. I'm happy with this hardware cloth, it's well-made.

__Ordered this to make a 'strainer' to separate sandy soil from small gravel. A little narrow, but that was my choice for other reasons.__This has tight small mesh and seems to have decent welds/joins.__The color of the galvanizing seems darker than others I have bought in the past. Is that due to thinness of the coverage or is there some variation in the "recipe" or some aging that happened in a warehouse somewhere? I don't know. Only time will tell if it is due to thinness of coating. Hard to find this size mesh locally, so I am keeping it and crossing my fingers it lasts. Of course, piling gravel and sand on this will wear down any cover, so I can't expect a long life for the coating.__4.5 stars

Bought this item and gained nearly twice as much product as retailers were selling 1/2 as much for at about the same price. The product is well made and worked perfectly for my project. I will definitely seek this seller again for future needs.
