It's a pretty simple product so it's hard to say too much about it-- but the chain is the quality you'd expect for something like this. I don't think it will break, should hold up just fine for its intended purpose. Follow the measurement guide it's spot on. And it does indeed seem like the kind of metal that won't rust easily.

This is an as expected chain collar for a large dog and it has served its' purposes so far with my husband's Belgian Malinois.
