I like the fact that these intercoms are lightweight and I got several to use throughout the house. The problem is there are minimal instructions for use and several of them will not hold a charge. It’s screaming “please charge battery” when plugged in. I can’t control the volume. I push the volume buttons and there’s no change. I bought these for my elderly mother who was startled in the middle of the night with it yelling “please charge battery” even though it was plugged in. She was unnerved and just unplugged the unit. This has happened to me several times. The whole purpose of buying these was so I can hear if she needed me. I’m not confident in these and will start looking for something else.
