I recently started training with these and love them. They are the perfect size to provide some assistance but not make it too easy, and are very quick to take on and off. they are also lighter weight then others ive used before. they make a noticable difference in the swim and I would definitely buy again

Been using the Churchill brand since my first Boogie board, still the best! And this is coming from someone that was around when the Boogie Board was invented 😂🏴☠️🎤

The reissued Churchill’s are very stiff and uncomfortable around your ankle. The fin feels like a hard plastic rather than stiff rubber (typical China manufacturing) The Amazon size chart is not accurate. I chose size large and LARGE is for 12-13. Amazon size chart is wrong. I tried them once and they were so loose and stiff..They are so stiff you can barely walk forward without it digging into your ankles. Walking backwards through the surf just filled the fins up with rocks and sand and the sand would stay in my toes with no way out. That drain hole only lets stuff in. Water fills up the toe area and the fins become heavier. I’m sure these were preferred back in the 70’s but the newer fins with multiple drain holes and comfortable rubber it’s a no brainer to go with a more modern functional design.

Purchased my first pair of Churchill fins which I still have in Daytona Beach while on vacation in 1987 beginning a life long passion for body boarding, these fins out performed all other fins when it comes down to catching the right waves, they served me well for 30 plus years now I am the proud owner of a new pair of Churchill once again and my feet are loving it!

Seller sent fins our quickly… came in thrashed, albeit intact box. Fins were new, or more precisely probably a “try on, doesn’t fit, return for refund” kinda thing. These are the same fins, albeit kids size for my daughter, that I’ve used for the better part of 40 years. Purpose for purchase - an adjunct for bodyboarding (and a bit for snorkeling). I LOVE MY fins.As for fit: my daughter has a wide foot, a woman’s size 8, and her foot fits a bit floppy in the foot cavity of the fin, but she hasn’t lost one yet, so we’re inclined to keep them as her feet - god I hope not - may still grow. Even if her feet do, a tight fit is normal, but if the forefoot/toes were too tight on trying yours, and there may be SOME degree of that - I’d go a size up. These, unlike some shoes, will not stretch to fir… they’re rubber, pretty sturdy.Wash them with fresh water after use in chlorine or salt water, store out of the sun and they should last years. Enjoy your fins!Hope this review helps.

I've only used these fins 3 times but, so far so good! I bought a sz small, for a sz 7 foot. They're a little snug but I'm hoping the rubber relaxes after I use them a bit more. They're well built and will probably be the last pair I ever buy. They definitely help get and stay out on the big stuff! Super stoked!REVIEW UPDATE: I still love these fins, 4 years later! They show a lot of wear but still have a lot left. I make sure to rinsethe saltwater off after every use. They're stiff enough to help propel into all the big waves I've come across. Now I'm looking for a 2nd pair of fins from another brand with a little more flexibility to help with a sore ankle!

medium is a great fit for my size 9 uk feet on their own, not so good with my 5mm boots, get a medium large or large if buying for use with a boot, still keep them for the summer though cheers

Good fins even though they are about 1/2" larger than I would have liked to wear without booties on; or 1/2" too small to wear with booties.Pros:Fit decent.Do the job of short paddle fins. Are somewhat buoyant so losing them is less of a concern.Cons:Not an exact size, either 1/2" too large or too small depending on type of wear.Needs a small toe drain. If you take them off in the water and carry by the heel strap you'll carry them virtually full of water. The rubber seems to "attract" sand to the inside that almost never leaves.Overall a good fin that I would buy again.**Please mark this review helpful if it has helped your purchase decision.**
