I saw this nutcracker and couldn't resist - I had to order it.My daughter-in-law is a very serious nutcracker collector. She has many beautiful and sophisticated nutcrackers and is proud of her collection. But what good is a collection if it doesn't make you smile?I had to order this as a Christmas gift for her. I think her collection needs a surfing Santa to cheer it up a bit! She will love it.This Santa with his surfboard and Hawaiian shirt is so cute. It's very well made - excellent workmanship. The wood is good quality. Santa is steady on his feet and so darn cute.Overall, the cutest nutcracker I've ever seen. It's well made with quality wood. I love him and recommend.

This is one chill dude, enjoying his downtime by the seaside. He's comprised mostly of wood, though his shirt and umbrella are fabric, the straw hat is . . . straw, maybe? And, his sunglasses appear to be painted metal. He's fairly nicely made - the hair and beard are firmly attached, and painting is neatly done. His flat feet with their painted flip-flops look a little awkward, and his mouth doesn't open and close - the wooden handle in his back moves absolutely nothing. Otherwise, this is a pretty cool "nutcracker" who can serve double duty as a decoration in both summer and winter.
