Product Description

Bird Repeller

Cleanrth TSBR610

Bird Repelling Detection Is Key! Our Infrared Sensor detects warm bodies up to 82 ft away from the device in a 120° Arc. That's 2x the COVERAGE of most other electronic/sonic/ultrasonic bird repellers sold today

Triple Scan Technology Our Infrared Sensor uses 3 separate viewing points instead of the conventional 1-2 window design for better detection. You get a more precise and attentive reaction when birds intrude into your area.

Dominating Ultrasonic Sounds These sounds are made to prevent unwanted birds from entering your yard & completely eradicate pests from your area. These bird-repelling sounds travel beyond the triple scan's 82-foot detection area for a total 7,000 sq ft of sound coverage. More Powerful Bird Ultrasonic Repelling = Better Results!

Hints for Success in Multiple Situations

lots of birds, many birds

I have LOTs of birds

This can work to annoy enough birds to whittle down their numbers until there are few enough to switch back to Sensor Mode.

few birds up high

The birds are super high up, like in a tree or on a roof

For birds in a tree, the branches can potentially block the infrared beam. Pull the device out past the furthest branch and set it on its back, with the window aimed at the sky.

For birds on a roof, you can similarly aim the device up at where the birds fly in from, or you could (safely) try setting the device up on the roof

keep birds from my car, garage, or barn

Birds are getting into my garage or barn

  • sitting above a car
  • entering a garage
  • landing on a boat spar/mast
  • entering a barn

It's best to aim your device at the point where the birds are landing or entering. While the device is sensitive enough to be triggered from 100+ feet; we've found that 10-20 feet away tends to be an ideal distance

pigeon repeller, bird repeller

My neighbor is feeding birds but they make a mess in MY yard

Place the repeller near the area on your property where the birds are making a mess.

Aim the front, white window towards the area that the birds are approaching from to startle them before they get to your property.

The infrared beam shoots out of the front, white window about 100 feet, and the beam spreads out in a 120 degree horizontal arc. The vertical is 90 degrees (45 up, 45 down)

Tell Me More

audible bird repeller

Tell Me MoreThat audible sound annoys me (or my neighbor)

The "Low" Sonic Frequency setting is best for startling birds because it's an audible sound:

but

it's also audible to humans, and everything that can hear in the same range: birds, cats, dogs, your annoying neighbors, etc.

If the audible setting won't work for you; look to the picture below for an easy fix!

birds can hear the low frequency

The Low Frequency setting is Audible

Birds hear the same sounds as humans, that why they fly away when you clap your hands or yell at them...

Birds can hear a little bit into the ultrasonic range, but not much higher than humans, and less than cats and dogs.

That's why this device has a slider switch, so YOU can control the frequency!

bird repelling system

The bird is sitting on the device??

This actually means a couple things:

  • The device is annoying the bird enough that the bird changed to a spot where it wouldn't trigger the sound
  • The bird approached the device from behind or the side and didn't break the IR beam
  • Sometimes, adjusting the angle of the device a little can help better cover more areas that the birds approach from

bird repeller settings

There are a lot of settings

This device has many settings to help with obstacles to success:

  • Birds used to Urban Noise Pollution are likely to be used to loud noises
  • Neighbors (or you?) are annoyed by the audible setting
  • The birds don't seem to react to the sensor mode

We designed this device with so many settings for a reason, and many customers have been successful after making one or two changes to the settings --so if you're having trouble -- we are available thru your Amazon account to help dial in the exact settings for your situation. We are here to help

Is your Bird Repeller too noisy? Here's how to fix it!

cleanrth tsbr610 noisy bird repeller

Is your Bird Repeller too noisy? Here's how to fix it!

If your bird repeller is too noisy, the fix is easy.

AThe beeping is TOO loud!!

--> Slowly adjust the Sonic Frequency slider toward High (slide to the right). Allow 1 minute to pass after each adjustment until you stop hearing the audible beep.

BThe Sound & LED lights go off too easily

--> Adjust the Sensitivity toward Low (slide to the left). If the sensitivity switch is all the way to the right (High), the infrared beam should be triggered my movement up to 82' out from the device. If the sensitivity switch is all the way to the left (Low), the infrared beam should be triggered my movement about 10-15' out from the device.

1. The device is on but the sound or the flashing light never turn on.

A. Both the sound and the light have a setting that forces them to stay OFF even when the infrared beam is triggered. Please double check that the top two switches are set to "SENSOR" mode and not "OFF"

2. The sound or the flashing light never stop.

A1. Both the sound and the light have a setting that forces them to stay ON even when the infrared beam is not triggered. Please double check that the top two switches are set to "SENSOR" mode and not "CONT."

A2. The Sensitivity Switch is set too high and the device is being triggered by random motion. Please turn this down.

3. This sound is annoying me or my neighbor.

A. This device is designed to be audible to startle birds, but you can adjust the "Sonic Frequency" slider a little over halfway toward the right to go into an inaudible-to-humans sound. This is less effective for startling birds but at least it won't bother you or your neighbor.

4. It's not working on pigeons or ducks!

A. Honestly, pigeons and ducks are 50/50. Some customers report great success and others get none. We suspect that an adjustment to settings would help the unlucky customers and we are available on Amazon to assist.

This year, our front and back yards were overrun by magpies. In addition, woodpeckers were boring large holes in our large, mature trees. Our front porch and back deck looked like we were raising chicken's on them. They were covered in bird poop! It was on our deck furniture, cushions, grill, rocking chairs, pillows, rugs....it was awful! We purchased one of the devices to see if it could help us. Unfortunately, it was defective in some of it's functions. We let the seller know and they were very responsive and immediately sent a new one to us, no questions asked. We followed the directions, exactly, when we set it up on our back deck. We noticed it helped a little bit at first but at the 16 day mark (as it says in the directions) there were NO birds in our back yard. In fact, because we were allowed to keep the first, partially defective unit, we set it up on the front porch. The light doesn't flash and it doesn't "click," but the ultrasonic function works. It has taken care of the problem on the front porch as well. After seeing NO birds in our yard for 2 weeks, we power washed our porch, deck, furniture, grill, sidewalks and driveways as well as cleaned off the cushions and pillows. We have found no bird poop since then. We love birds and they are welcome to be in our yard and our trees but once they overwhelm and make a big mess of our deck and porch, it's not OK! We're SO grateful for this product and highly recommend it!

Was very simple to set up and it actually started working, and the ducks started avoiding my patio. It worked fir like 3 weeks and then the strobe was on all the time snd no sound came out. It wasn’t the batteries because the box was plugged in.I started to tell everyone in my neighborhood (we all live on the lake), to buy this instead of paying a company to remove the ducks. Unfortunately , it didn’t live up to my expectation.

First, I thought I'd need an extension cord. No! This includes a long, low voltage, cord in the box. I took it out back, plugged it in, and turned on the switch. About 20 Pigeons immediately took flight! They flew to the neighbor's roof behind us, paused briefly, then continued out of sight. WOW! And some people say it's too loud? If you have the ears of a Pigeon perhaps. I hear a faint tick tick. I put my ear right against it, and that's it, just a faint tick tick with everything set on max. I can't see how this could ever bother a human. Birds, on the other hand, are clearly bothered by it!Then I decided to read the paperwork. Well, I should have set the levels midway to start, but I kind of hate to change it when it works so well as-is. Next, a letter from the owner of the company is included. If after 2 weeks you're still having a problem, they'll move to stage II at no charge to you?!?! Seriously? They clearly want to help you! What a nice touch.I had 4 pigeons build a nest on top of one of the support columns for my patio. I chased them off once and knocked down the nest. The stubborn little buggers came back and rebuilt. They're pooping ALL OVER my patio, the patio table, and chairs. I got up on a ladder and discovered they chipped away the stucco at the top all the way down to the wood. They had a really nice nest built that was somewhat sheltered from the elements, and there were 4 eggs in the nest. What I thought I knocked down was barely the top of the nest. I completely removed it and glued down some strips of rubber to keep water away from the wood. I piled the strips so water would run off, as would any attempt to rebuild another nest. To my shock and horror, I found the patio COVERED in poop! They just moved to the ground under my patio table! Even my grill had pigeon poop on it. That's when I realized I needed to take more drastic measures and found this little box on Amazon. The birds are GONE! I really don't care so much about the back yard. They eat bugs. But my patio is off-limits. Well, I'm pleased to say even the back yard is clear. I think my neighbor's yards are clear too! This little box worked better than a littler of cats. AMAZING!I'll update this review if they come back, but right now I don't see that happening. They've been served their final eviction notice in a language that only they can understand. Thank you CLEANRTH. You've developed an incredible product. I hope more people see this, buy your products, and keep your great great grandchildren in business. If it isn't clear from my experience and review, I do not work for the company. I was not given a product for evaluation. I paid full price for this. This is my experience and my honest review, in my own words. I do give CLEANRTH permission to use any or all of this in any manner they choose. Have you considered going to the major pest control companies to act as distributors? I'm sure their customers would be very happy to receive these. Do similar products exist for insects? I can't speak to the life expectancy of the product, but I would hope it continues to silently scream for many years to come.

I really wanted this product to work. I have a big problem with birds (wrens, sparrows) roosting on my porch and the roof above the porch. The product worked as advertised but did not scare away the birds. I tried all the settings for a few weeks and then reached out to the manufacturer. They were very understanding and gave me some more tips on what to do to solve the problem. They also sent me a second unit free of charge, with the hopes that doubling down might be a solution.Unfortunately, it did not work. I think the final straw was when I saw birds walking over to the units to look at them and see where the noise and lights were coming from. When I finally made the decision to unplug the units, I immediately saw a decrease in the number of birds. That's when I realized that the units actually ATTRACTED the birds. There may be a solution for me, but this was not it. Back to the drawing board.
