I am a violinist with, obviously, two fragile pieces to my instrument. In windy situations I don't have the time--or hands--to deal with multiple clothes pins or plastic sheets! The Musicmaide music clips worked well outside, but I used them on an old NIlton folding plastic stand that needs to be modified a bit so that these clips work more efficiently. Any awkwardness was not the fault of the Musicmaide clips, and I look forward to continue to work with them. They are flexible, yet durable, and I feel they were worth the price. It's nice that you can also see through them.

Two of them do a good job of restraining the music in breeze.

Looking straight on I can see everything fine. With a stand partner and the stand slightly tilted some markings are distorted.

Purchased these for an outdoor concert and they worked great! They actually worked a bit too well and I did have a little bit of trouble turning pages but that’s because I had pushed them in too far. They hold music really well. I highly recommend them! Next time I will be sure to not push them completely up against the stand so I can still turn my music quickly.

I used these at a couple of outdoor concerts and they worked really well, even on a solid metal stand. My clear clips don't really work on the solid stands like they did on my wire one but these clips do. The slide on and off and can be moved back and forth quickly so page turns aren't too bad.

They did exactly what I required. The music stayed on the stand comfortably and I really appreciated the clear plastic which enabled me to see all of the music.

These clips are fantastic. Far superior to the type of clips with clothespins attached - or any other clip you may have tried. Fast and easy on and off the music stand. Used these at an outdoor gig last weekend and they worked perfectly. The clips slip right on the shelf of the music stand pressing down on your music and holding it in place securely. The plastic is clear so you can read right through it. So glad I have these.

The perfect solution for when playing outside. You can turn pages without even having to touch the clips, unlike with clothes pegs or magnets. Magnets are useless on many modern orchestral stands, which are often made from materials other than metal. A bag is also available to protect these from scratching when on the move.

Although the first two clips I purchased did not function with my Manhasset stand for some reason, Kim from Musicmaide contacted me after seeing my review and, without being asked, sent me a new pair at no charge. The new clips function perfectly and I'm delighted. I assume the first pair were warped in shipment or something and lost their grip, but regardless, these are a good product (which have the added virtue of not distorting the view of the music that they cover as some clear clips can). What's more, Musicmade and Kim cared enough to contact me to solve the issue and I greatly appreciate that.

I've never owned a music stand before but have used many. This one, unlike the older models, is light weight but very stable. The flat part that holds the music is metal and has a nice large lip so you can have several music books on it at once. Parts of the support structure is made of a durable, sturdy plastic that seems very sturdy and appropriate for their function. It is light weight but not top heavy. I highly recommend also purchasing the "Kootek 9 light music light" (also sold on Amazon). The light has a rechargeable battery that lasts a long time so you don't have a cord to deal with and the light is adjustable. Also priced very low. Both are great products.
