I purchased for the musubi molds. The sushi mat was an added bonus. The molds are made of a durable plastic. Placed in dishwasher and no distortion. Works great!

These are perfect for musubi! Great size and easy to use. The mat is fine, I wouldn’t buy it just for that but it’s a good addition

I have a musubi mold from Daiso, but it's a long one, and for whatever reason I tend to mess up one side when cutting the musubi log in half. I decided to try this as a more compact option.Since this is a musubi size, you will have to pre-cut your seaweed to fit the mold. So far it performs as expected. I like that it comes with a sushi mat. It's not something I necessarily need for musubi, but as in all-in-one kit it's nice to have to make other rolls. There is a texture on the mold. The older one I have is basically a smooth acrylic looking plastic, but this one is opaque and textured. I'm not yet sure which I prefer, because stuff always sticks a little no matter what I use, but I think that's more user error. This mold is also BPA-free, which is always a nice feature.If you're wanting to make musubi, this is a nice and affordable option to start.

must have for musubi lovers. Very easy to use and clean. The bamboo is rather thin so i don’t know how long they will last but regardless you can’t beat the price!

This is a basic, affordable kit for molding Musubi and sushi rolls and is lightweight, easy to store, and functional.

This Musubi press mold kit is convenient and easy to use. It is a handy tool for making musubi and onigiri with ease. Its non-stick surface ensures smooth food preparation, and the great material is great for everyday use. The kit is simple to use and maintain, making it great for me. However, while functional, the material feels somewhat fragile and may break with frequent or rough use. Overall, it’s a decent set for me.

We decided to have an at home, make your own roll sushi night with the whole family as part of a birthday celebration for one of our family members which was a fun experience. We wanted to make some rolls there had the rice on the outside, that is not so easy to do without experience and especially without the right tools. So the bamboo rolling mat was great to have for that.We didn't make a ton of use of the presses since we mostly wanted rolls, but I did test them enough to know they work as expected. And the mat made it so we could accomplish the results at home we wanted from our own rolls.Good fun to use and we will use again when we have another gathering like this.

The molds and the rolling mat are just the right size - the molds are 1/2 the width of a nori sheet, and the mat is the width of one sheet, so they work great (I didn't wrap the pieces I made since I was going to pack them to eat later and don't want the nori to be soggy). Here, I just filled with extra spicy tuna may mix I would normally put in an onigiri mold to try these out. Had no problem with rice sticking to the mold after using the same one twice. For the price, a nice value, and the plastic on the molds feels like a nice quality.It doesn't come with any rice paddles or additional tools, just the molds and the mat, so I used a paddle I have already - a bit easier than using hands in my opinion. No instructions either - very basic, simple item. Be sure to dip your fingers before handling the rice so you don't have rice sticking all over them and you'll be fine.
