For about 10 years, I’ve had broken ball latches on my pantry, but never bothered to fix them. Instead, I used a rubber band to keep the doors closed. I finally got around to ordering and installing these a few weeks ago. I am probably the least handy person ever, but even I installed and adjusted these really quickly and easily. They work great!

I used this product for closet doors and they look great and functional. The ball can be manually screwed clockwise or anti-clockwise to adjust its protrusion and tension of the hidden spring prior to installation. The installation requires that you use a drill and a phillips screwdriver. You have to drill about 1 1/2 inch hole on the door side and a shallow hole on the frame side. You do not require much of an elbow grease but you need a little handyman skills.

Great product! I needed something smaller to keep my new wooden patio door closed so my little dogs couldn’t push it open if they were on the deck and this works perfectly. Fairly easy to install if you have the proper drill bit and easy to adjust for a snug fit. I put the flat piece on the door and the ball piece in the door jamb because the wooden door is only 1.25” wide. This size ball and catch worked perfectly. This totally beats a latch too because it’s hardly seen as it hides between the door and jamb. Love it!

I ordered these blindly because I just wanted my doors fixed. Thankfully, they worked and now all my doors latch again. Since I wasnt paying attention, I actually didnt meed the plate but need the insert portion with the ball only. My husband stated they were easy to install. He had to install on 8 doors (or 4 sets) He got them all done fairly quick and easy. He said they were better than the ones that the buyer originally put on the doors. Overall, we are pleased.

I bought the door ball catches to replace some that had stopped working on my closet doors. After toying with the idea of using magnets and after several attempts at trying to replace the balls, the original springs etc. I decided to try and replace the whole thing, since the price was right. As it happened, I only needed to remove the original ball housing and replace with the new parts. The catches I already had worked great and the screws provided did a great job of keeping it secure. It's great to finally have both doors close again!
