Brought spare needle for Kansan beading by clover happy with both these purchases. The Kanban beading tool is great for adding beading to your fabrics. And also a useful tool to be creative on all different types of materials..

I bought the needle set and it broke 5 days after I started using it. I love this needle so I bought 2 refills.You have to be really careful not to pull too hard on the needle and treat it gently if you want it to last.

I have been a loyal user of the Clover Kantan needle for the last two years. I absolutely love how much easier the process is with this tool. I usually have 2-3 replacements on hand just in case one break while I'm in the process. I bought two replacements a week ago and BOTH replacements broke within 10 minutes of use.At first when I set and screwed in the first replacement it kept slipping out of the wooden handle, which was very annoying but I didn't think much of it. Within minutes of use the needle spring/latch visibly dislodged. Again I didn't think much of it bc I thought it must have been me/my technique, but then it happened a second time. When I set the second replacement in, the spring stopped working within minutes; the latch doesn't spring back and forth properly, in fact it didn't spring at all, it's as if the spring were not there.I have never had a Clover Kantan needle last me for such a short amount of time. I have had needles last me through months and multiple projects and thicker materials than the type I'm working on (canvas), so I don't know why these last two have literally lasted me a lifespan of less than 20 minutes combined. Maybe it was a bad batch.

It does not specify the size when order. Expect a big hook, not for fine embroidery.

La aguja está bien. Tiene buen tamaño para bordar, pero es frágil. Ya de me han roto 2. Otra pega es que la que viene con mango de madera está fuera de stock desde hace mucho.

This is a reorder. Actually, the spring on the hook latch broke on the original tool I had after very little use. Bummer, but they're the only business in town, so I reordered. I hope it was just a mechanical anomaly. Haven't had much time to devote to using it lately.

I've previously bought tambour needle set that requires quite a bit of practice so I decided maybe I will give this product a try. Received the product and found out that the body is flat as oppose to my old needle, which like ordinary crochet needles has a round body. Placed it into my wooden handle and it was working great. It did not come loose while I'm working with it.It is so easy to use compare to the ones without the latch. Of course I am not implying that the more traditional needles with no latch is not preferred. But this one, in my opinion, is much more preferred for amateurs like me who just wanted to do bead embroidery without the extensive practice.
