  • JSS57 uses a six-digit dial switch to set the filter time, motor rotation direction and subdivision accuracy.
  • SW1, filter time setting. The default on=3ms, off=25ms, the larger the filtering time, the smoother the motor runs and the lower the noise. Moreover, in the on state, the filtering time can be flexibly set by the upper computer software setting.
  • SW2, motor rotation direction setting. On=CW,off=CCW.
  • SW3、SW4、SW5、SW6:Subdivision setting

As a stepper works ok, but the RS 232 doesn’t work well, the data sheet is not complete repeated to the communication

Great motor and cheap for its class. The built in controller gets a little toasty because it doesn’t have the heat sinking capabilities of the separate controller it’s based on.The RS-232 is locked at 38400 and requires a CRC to be computed to talk to the thing.It will work in PUL/DIR mode but I bought it for serial which requires a learning curve.So far the manufacturer will not tell me an example string to send the thing to get it to turn. Just a copy of the complex translated manual.
