all the photos show torx style screws for use with the T-style fastener, however I received square bit/head screws which I specifically did not want. The T-fastners themselves appear to be fine.

I love these for being a fraction of the cost of the Name Brand(s) and they work just as well, no issues at all.

Works just as well as actual Trex brand fasteners at about 35% of the cost of Trex.Note. Description said that the screws were already attached to each fastener. This was not true as all of the screws were in a separate bag and had to be attached to each fastener. Not a big deal but it is a time saver when they are all pre-attached.

I needed some starter clips for a couple of deck renovations I am doing on my home. The first was my front entry deck and this clips were a breeze to use. Just set them on the rim joist on house and screw them in place. Once that first row of clips was installed it was pretty easy to get that first deck plank snapped in and ready for the first set of 2 sided clips to be installed to hold it in place. The clips are a nice heavy gauge stainless with a black coating that doesn't chip or scratch off easily. They are very consistent in shape and didn't require and rework to get them all to line up. That's an issue I have had with other clips I have used in the past. This one box will be enough starter clips for my front entry and large rear deck that I am upgrading.

Clips right into Trex decking. Or visa versa! Less cost than that name product items.
