Worked perfectly on our camping trip this weekend. Folds flat and is easy to use and stow. It's also easy to clean and very sturdy compared to balancing pots and pans on a burning log or something. Highly recommend this for the price.

I kept looking for a food safe grill, this seemed like the best option. Definitely a little flimsy if you put a cast iron pan on top, but it's a good size and does the job. I do wish they had kept the grill spacing consistent.

Worked great! I heated up stuff in a pot on the end with the wider gaps, and cooked brats and stuff on the other end with the smaller gaps. Very light, but actually very sturdy. You can kinda adjust the height by pushing the legs into the ground, which is handy.

I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this Camp Grill is even though it is not heavy in weight. There are two Coghlan's grills listed on this item's Amazon site. One is called "heavy duty" and the other is this one, so I was expecting something flimsy. This grill is about 24" wide and is the right size to cover the average fire ring found at many campgrounds. You're supposed to use this grill over an open fire with your pots and pans - not for direct contact with food. Looking at the width of the rungs, I would have to agree that you need to place cookware on top of it and not place food directly on it, since the food might fall through the grate. I'm hoping that the grill is strong enough to hold up at high temps, but that remains to be seen. It would have been nice if there was a carrying bag or case, but I can fashion one of those myself. Another thing to note - the edges of the rungs and the bottoms of the legs are VERY sharp. My husband is going to use a burring tool to grind down the sharp edges a bit to avoid cuts on hands and punctures of our tent when packed into our cargo trailer.

Good quality, well made and versatile. First use was to tie the legs up with wire and place the whole thing across a fire pit where it held a Dutch oven at one end and a large frying pan at the other. Just as easily used with legs. Successful purchase.

This should be perfect for backpacking in theory but the first time I used it I must have had it in the fire too long because it buckled. I am still using it, having bent it in the opposite direction. It is heavy and bulky, too large to fit into my backpack so I have to strap it onto the back. I'll be using a camp stove in hunting season instead.
