Thread the open end of the lanyard through the hard hat accessory slot or suspension and back through the clamp, closing tightly for a secure connection. Would have liked to see this in the $10 range like the buckle version etc even the lime green clip version is $10 but shipping etc makes it $20 too even with prime.Either way that’s my only gripe, works well and is as advertised. But $20 for one of these is overkill. Just didn’t want the buckle version and didn’t have time to go to store myself

The hook is well made but the points where the line is, are glued or fixed together with a heat shrink sleeve only. I hope it holds well the helmet at the drop time.

Good lanyard to keep from losing my hard hate. I work as a longshoreman and have lost my hard hat to the water several times. This lanyard works well at keeping my hard hat attached to my person.

Love this thing. I got it to replace a really thick and bulky tool lanyard that was awkward during some training. The simple clip is surprisingly strong if clipped correctly and you forget it's even there once placed in a good spot. Easy to install and stays out of your way. A hard hat is much lighter than 2 pounds so it's awesome. Also had to test it and it didn't even hit my knees (6'2) - a foot (anchor point)

I wish it was a little stronger but it does the job to a point. Just make sure it is strongly secure if you hat fall the second time because for me it gets loose after one use.
