Purchased for doing regular car work such as brakes and lawnmower maintenance. they don't stick well to other items themselves but they do a great job of corralling my nuts and bolts while i move them around and such. havent had to use the magnetic bendy arm yet but it is of good quality and im happy i have it if need be.

Still giving this 4 stars because most don't even have the magnet stick. Magnets will hold a 1/4 ratchet but not a 3/8 ratchet, to give an idea on magnet strength. Rolling bolts do not stick so useless if you want to use just the magnet as a catcher in your engine bay, can use the whole tray facing upwards though.

I’ve had my share of bolts dropped into the engine bay by accident and have had to remove the undertray or feel around to pick them up. I remember my grandfather had a magnet on a flexible stick and so picked this up when I saw it. The tool seems sturdy, and the adjustment to the gooseneck are very simple. I’d suggest making sure the gooseneck is long enough for what you’d consider a typical reach into the bottom of your engine or wherever you tend to accidentally drop things into.The kit also includes magnetic organizers in three different sizes. They stick just fine and the sides collapse for storage. They’re a good alternative to putting parts into the plastic trim under the windshield. The smallest size is a bit too small to be useful for automotive parts, in my opinion, but maybe better for crafting.

Space saving when not in use. Perfect for helping prevent the loss of nuts, bolts and whatever. It's just a very simple, effective resource to have.

Great value, I use these all the time in the garage and for household project. Really nice that they store flat and don't take up a lot of space in the toolbox.

These collapsable trays are pretty handy and attractive looking. I store them on the side of my toolbox. The magnetic base is barely strong enough to hold them there. The magnetic strength to hold nuts and bolts inside is pretty weak but it does work. I mostly use these when working on the lawn mower or something like that. Keeps my parts from getting lost.
