This jacket is really slim fitted and true to size. If you want to layer with thick sweaters and hoodie, I recommend going up a size or two for comfort. I bought a size M and I'm 145 pounds. I wore a fleece base layer underneath in 40 to 30 degree weather during my recent hike and it kept me well insulated. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

It’s a great jacket that is warm, water resistant and it was a decent price. It looks great on and has a nice length covering your buttocks. The downside is that it is fleece lined and doesn’t breathe very well. And the fleece does make it a bit more challenging to put on or take off if you wear long sleeve.

I really hesitated before buying this jacket because a lot of reviews mentioned that it was too long or too small, but I'm glad i did! I think that the jacket will suit tall women better. I'm 5f11, 155 pounds and the large size fits amazing ( i usually wear a medium , but i had to size up). The sleeves are the perfect lenght and my butt is covered, even though i have hips and some curves . If you are on the taller side, don't hesitate.

Lightweight, liner is ok, unless your wearing certain material that sticks to , the sleeves and a good shape and have room without looking bulky

Columbia clothing is cut slim on me and I've never ever found this to be otherwise. So I did order up a size - even though Amazon recommended a 'medium' based on other clothing I've purchased. The jacket is very nice in quality and one of the few jackets that actually comes to the mid-thigh rather than stopping at the hip. That said, I found the sleeve fit quite narrow which makes me reconsider wearing a sweatshirt weight underneath. Sleeves are unnecessarily long but a velcro tab adjusts at the wrist fitting quite comfortably. The jacket has a good lightweight lining which is a bit 'grabby' onto fabric paired next to it, making it a struggle to put on. Overall, quite waterproof which is what I wanted in a jacket.
