After several successful orders for our boomerang club, the last 2 have been two boomerangs. Pay for 4 get 2. Not impressed. These little ones are great for indoor gymnasium throwing where young throwers can't get hurt.

These work pretty well. They are sup lightweight foam and are easy to throw. Any sort of wind, even the slightest gust and these are useless. They are to lightweight to handle even a slight gusts of 2mph. If you have a large indoor space, these are great. You can turn or bend the blades the way you want and you will get a directional reaction. We found it fun to experiment with how we could manipulate the throw.Overall we like these, but every time we tried to take them outside, there was always a little bit of wind that ruined the fun.

I got the four pack of these boomerangs, 2 longer range “outdoor” boomerangs and 2 with a shorter range labeled “indoor.” You’d need a very large open space to use them indoors so I’m going to ignore the indoor/outdoor labels and instead review them as outdoor toys. They are a blast. You have to throw them vertically as if you are throwing an axe, not a frisbee, and throw them with some but not too much muscle. It sounds complicated but it’s not. It’s easy for children to get the hang of and once they do, the boomerang really does fly in a loop and come back. The boomerangs are nice and soft so they don’t hurt at all if you miss and get hit by one. They are a great way to get the kids outside and engaged. My kids made up games with these and played with them for a long time. It kept them outside and running around and that’s exactly what I wanted from them. I have to admit I had a fun time playing with them too.

You need to be able to throw this with a lot of force.. more than a child could do. Even my grown son can't get this thrown with enough force to have it return. We tried numerous times with no luck.

While these are not shaped in a traditional "boomerang" shape and they do require a little bit of learning on the proper way to throw them, they are great at returning to you once you get the technic down. The units has seen extensive outdoor use since they arrived and are still holding up despite their heavy use. They are great to play with for all ages but can be a little rough to get hit with so be sure to provide ample amount of space between different throwers to keep from having any injuries occur.
