Looks nice but not very comfortable. The padding should be thicker.

The bike seat that came with my Mongoose 29er was a Cloud 9 10.5” x 10.5” cruiser. While it may be good for fat-bottomed er...people, it wasn’t suitable for me. I’m a slender man (BMI 20.5) with a 32” waist, so narrower seats align with my sit bones better than broad seats do.This replacement bike seat by Ozikutech is fantastically comfortable. Not only does it perfectly align with my sit bones, but also the perineal cutaway allows space for blood to flow to other important areas. The padding on this new seat is ample. I don’t feel like I’m sitting on a rock, nor do I feel like I’m on a mushy cushion. This leaves me with a good sensation of the road without numbing me.Installation was a breeze. Two crescent wrenches and about 5 minutes was all it took. I really like that fact that I can also adjust the seat forwards/backwards so that my reach to the handlebars is proper. The fabric stapling underneath the seat is a bit sloppy, but I’m hopeful it’ll hold and this seat will last for many years.I’m very glad that I ordered this seat. It’s half the price of a Cloud 9, but infinitely more comfortable for my particular body type.

I recently bought an inexpensive mountain bike from Amazon knowing full well there were going to be parts I replaced once I set it up. The seat was definitely on the list. This is not a wide cheeked cruiser saddle, but more akin to what you find on a road bike or many better brand mountain bikes. It has a decent amount of padding and a cutout running the length from behind the nose to almost the tail end.I’m using that bike mostly for tooling around town and participating in the social rides hosted in our local rails to trails system, so I wanted something that was comfortable and wouldn’t put pressure on sensitive areas. Now, normally you would expect two versions of cutout saddles for two types of anatomical needs. This is apparently unisex. I can’t speak to how well it would work with female anatomy, but it definitely reduces pressure for guys. I really don’t want to get too technical, but if you’ve been in a saddle for any amount of time guys, you know you can get some numbness that’s not at all fun. This saddle allows things to move without getting squished, so you can ride longer. That said, this is a weekend warrior saddle, not a committed, long distance rider’s saddle. So it’s fine for most of us.

This was super easy to install onto my son's bike. He has a typical kid's bike for a child his size, which is the biggest size before upgrading to an adult bike. It's about an inch longer than his previous seat but you wouldn't know it by how well it fits. We used a wrench to unscrew the bolts on the old bike seat. Then we used a hammer to kind of tap off the adjuster that was previously installed on the bike rod. After that, we put this new seat onto the rod which was already on the bike and just tightened the bolts in place. After we had the tools out and the bike in place, the whole process of removing the old and installing the new took about 10 minutes. I had never installed a new bike seat so I didn't know what to expect, but it was such a smooth process that I stood back and just talked my son through it so HE could learn and do the installation. It was a BREEZE. The seat itself is a firm cushion. It comes with a seat cover that reminds me of a shower cap, but my son isn't going to use that. The black and red are a true match to the color of his bike which is a true red, like the color of a crayon. "Red." Seeing his eyes light up at the new bike seat and that it was a quick and painless experience, this was all enough for me. I am thrilled! Five stars, for sure!

The seat is filled with a very dense foam from the top down to a hard shell base. The top is a PU leather that should be waterproof by itself but it does come with a waterproof seat cover. There might be gel inside to stiffen the seat and absorb shock but it's difficult to tell. The seat without the straight post clamp weighs 13.9 oz (395g). 18.4oz with the clamp (522g). Clamp = 4.5oz (129g).Its width is 5.5" (140 mm) at the outer stripes on the top, but may not be wide enough for use as a women's saddle for some. The width at the base of the saddle is 6.25" (155 mm) putting it on the wide side for use by men. I think an average full width for a road saddle for men is about 5.2" (132mm).The center cut-out provides reduced pressure on sensitive areas. It attaches to a straight seat post with the mounted clamp, or to a double rail seat post with the clamp removed. This would make a good seat for a commuter or recreational bike, but might be a bit soft for a long-distance road bike where chafing becomes a concern over "cushiness." The width appears to be the average for all adult riders so may not be comfortable for people with narrow or wide seat bone measurements (distance between ischial tuberosities).4 stars - Well made if not the lightest around. If it fits, it makes a good commuter bike seat where short distance comfort is foremost. For the price, it's hard to beat.

The seat is well padded and comfortable, I was easy to install and seems to accommodate a variety of seat posts.
