They are just what you expect a link to be. They install easy with the right tools. The fit on a bike with a derailleur was perfect and they seem like they are made of decent steel, but the trouble I had was locking them in place after installing, there seemed to be a danger that they might come apart during normal operation .

The clips are kind cheap but they do the work. The chain lock links themselves are great. It's just the clip itself that is fragile if not careful.

I didn’t use it as intended, but I only needed one to drill out and use to limit the amount of vacuum advance on my points distributor for a muscle car that I power tuned. This worked out great with the perfect size. Now I have 19 spares yay! If anybody need one, I’ll be posting a picture soon to show you how to do it and these are great at a great price for limiting the amount of vacuum advance in a points style distributor.I can definitely recommend these, but not for the use intended because I don’t have experience in that. My experience was a custom application not intended for bicycle usage, and it held up fine.
