I purchased a huge roll of this for my landscaping. I have other landscape material and even after double folding it, the weeds find their way to the flower beds and islands. This also prevents ants from building their nests that landscape fabric will not. I live in the southern US and fire ants will build anywhere they can.

I used a weed barrier from a commercial big-box store to landscape most of my yard. I used this product to finish the remainder of the yard. This material is cheap and not tightly woven. The big-box weed barrier has no weeds. This product is so poorly woven it allows weeds to grow up through it. As the summer has progressed the only part of my landscaping that has weeds is this section. I put wood chips on top and uncovering the chips I can trace the weed to its stem and roots, right through this weed barrier. A lot of work and now I'm hardly better off than before I placed the weed barrier. Find a better product. I would rate this as subpar junk only looking the part in appearance.

I purchased this as a way to control weeds along a fence row and some garden areas. It's only been down for a few weeks and the weeds are coming right through it.Second con, it is extremely messy. It frayed really easy and it just keeps going and going and going..... it might work for some duties, but weed barrier is not the one. Think of an old harbor freight tarp when it starts to unravel. Who knows, maybe my grass and weeds are just too tough. In comparison, I have used the fabric style weed barrier in the same application over 5 years ago now an no weeds coming through yet.Maybe I'm not using it for the correct application, but I was under the impression that it was a weed barrier so take my review for what it's worth. Unless you know what you're getting and it will work for your project, move on. I'm dreading tearing it all out and disposing of it.I'm no expert, so take my review for what it's worth.

Item is quality made and will work well to prevent weed growth under mulch as a base. Also will be used as a base for a driveway under the gravel.

This was a perfect weeded barrier under my landscape beds. It also kept the soil intact. I strongly recommend this product.

Used this under house to help keep insulation in place. I know that this allows air flow, but it also helps as a windbreaker. Hopefully it will also prevent any insects or rodents from entering from underneath the house. Not sure how well it will work. but it looks good !

We purchased this product to use in new landscape beds we install. We were looking for something not quite as heavy duty and easier to work with than the thicker product we use under patios we install. The rolls are easier to maneuver. We do make sure that we overlap at least a few inches in the landscape beds. We will continue to use a thicker product under patios but will continue to purchase this product for our landscape bed installs.
