The charger does do a good job of charging the battery, however if the radio is left on, it will not maintain and gives a false "charged" green light indication.Turn the radio on, place in the charger, it'll charge fully, turn on the charged green light, and stop charging with the green light on until the radio battery is dead.So if all you want is to charge your battery, buy this charger, if you want to listen to your radio and want something to keep the battery charged, do not buy this charger

The device sits on my desk and charges my Motorola APX 4000 after an 8 hour shift. It charges if ever time as long as it’s seated correctly into the charger. Construction is good and I have no complaints.

With so many to choose from and sometime bogus reviews I took a chance on this one. Packed well and made somewhat impressive, I'm glad I did. Batteries seem to respond well both impress and their clones.
