Initially worked great for the short-term, however, it does not hold up in sun. We're staying at an RV lot that has morning/afternoon sun. Please keep in mind that this is winter use and we haven't experienced any high heat days. After three months the sunshine on the door melted/warped the frame and made it no longer usable. The part that locks into the upper part of the window warped and, although we tried to heat and reshape, it didn't work. Very glad that I didn't spend a lot of money for this shade.

On installation the caps on either side of the top and bottom rails were not secure and fell out. Managed to get them back in place and installed it into our new trailer. Opened and closed it to test found it was tight to open but seemed to work find. Didn't touch it to open or close it and 2 days later it was bent and fell down. Returning the item.

The cheap plastic softens when exposed to even mild heat then bends and falls off of the clips that hold it in place.
