I've had these on my car for over 2 years now. They saved me from getting screwed over by my mechanic who wanted $700 to change out the entire glass window. I knew I only needed hinges. With the help of YouTube and my brother these went on in 15 mins and saved a ton of money! Highly recommend!

3 years after purchasing this product, catastrophic failure occurred. They were installed correctly, there was no sign of corrosion, and the rear window was opened infrequently in that time frame. The internal threads for the top bolt sheared, causing the glass to detach abruptly. This occurred while I was opening the rear window on my 2011 Ford Escape. Fortunately I was able to catch the glass as this occurred. Would not recommend, get something of a higher quality.

Got this for my son's 2009 escape. Everything was great except the nut that comes with it. Keep the nut from the old one. It is too small and doesn't quite fit the socket perfectly, causing some stripping. Other than that this seems like an exact fit. However, It was my first time with a torque wrench and I must have set it wrong because the bolt broke and I had to order anther set because I'm sure I can't return it. It's honestly 5 stars but that nut was frustrating until I decided to us the old one. A good video is from 1A auto

Once the spacers were added the screws barley long enough. Window may come off with too many bumps, time will tell. Otherwise seems like a great product. Not sure yet about longevity.

These were easy to install and worked perfectly on my 2012 Ford Escape. They look just like the original hinges that I removed and feel very durable.The only difference that I noticed between this and the original hinge was the original nut for attaching the hinge to the body/roof of my car looked a little different. I thought the original nut looked more durable so I used it with these new hinges instead of the nut that was included.

The hinges on the rear window glass of a 2008 Ford Escape corroded so badly the driver side hinge was no longer connected to the glass! Had to lift it and latch it to get it home. These hinges are great! Great price and quality! Hardest part of the job was getting the old hinges off. So corroded had to drill out the old fasteners to install the new.
