This product is a complete joke. The needle will not seat and causes a dangerous situation for people that aren't mechanics. Also the gaskets feel and look like someone in a village cut them out. Also missing 2 springs for accelerator pump and one for the fuel screen filter. Don't waste your time or money. There are good aftermarket kits available but this is definitely not one of them.

Overall - Yes, I would buy it again.So this rebuild kit did work... but some of the gaskets needed to be tweaked to work, the fuel horn gasket was oversized and the intermediate gasket needed to be enlarged near the accelerator pump shroud, so I ended up trimming them to fit (note: a sharp utility scizzors and sharp utility knife did the trick!). Also, there are ZERO instructions, even though the kit includes a gauge for setting up proper float height. I ended up using many of the OE parts as they were still good. The aluminum washer seals were not sized correctly, but I think they may have worked. Overall the price was good, and I was able to do a successful rebuild, and the boat idles great now, so success! However the kit did cause many extra minutes due to the slight mis-sizing of parts and gasket hole positions (close but... not close enough!).

Well, I took a chance on this kit. Believe the other reviews that state poor quality. The main reason for the one star I gave this item is for fast delivery . Get the oem kit or Sierra kit.

The seal rings are a little big, the pump is taller. Bought it for the top gasket basically

The whole reason for buying this kit was to replace the float the float needle and seat. Right off the bat I noticed that the threads for the idle jet needle were wrong. Gaskets that were supposed to fit didn't without trimming. Their own needle seat for the float The needle doesn't fit in the diameter of the seat. Not even close. Had to reuse my old needle and seat. Not what I wanted to be doing but I'm not going to leave my carburetor apart for a month while I figure this out. Do not buy from this seller. You will not get a quality product. I hope it works.

I got this carburetor rebuild kit for my OMC powerboat Merc V6 Vortex. Rebuilding a carb is a little out of my skill-set, so I gave it to my mechanic and he said it was just right. It fit, the motor is running great, and I’m happy.
