The head gaskets included in the kit leaked coolant when I tried to fill the system. They are completely worthless.

Bought this set mainly for the head gaskets. I pulled the intake and left head, clean surfaces good and put engine back together. Coolant leaked out soon as i filled it. So I pulled it back apart. Went a step farther with head by reworking surface on a surface plate thinking maybe I missed something or it was warped. I used the 2nd gasket in the kit, this time even used high tac. Put together and still leaked. Bought OEM gaskets, and it sealed first try dry!

See pic, included gasket will NOT work for an FD620d out of a JD 425 tractor.OEM gasket fits over the studs on intake manifold... This one is expected to just stay centred while you assemble?Guess I won't be finishing this job today.

Fit my engine and still haven't had any leaks super happy with this kit.. usually the head gaskets fail when after market and not oem but these held up
