My kitten won’t use the horizontal scratching boxes and prefers my furniture instead. This is perfect - economical, good size, easy to assemble, and it makes a great bed for my older cat. Now to see if my furniture is safe!

The price is right, but the strength of the cardboard is slight. My cat has already clawed up a good portion of the boards after only four or five days. They won't last two to three weeks, whereas the Ware two-pack corrugated boards last us almost six months when you flip them over once a side is torn up. These ComSaf boards seem more appropriate for kittens.

This is a great scratching post!Let me start by saying which I didn’t see in the reviews. It comes with a little plastic screws that screw through the outer cardboard shell through the corrugated scratching pads to hold them in place. All you have to do is line up the holes on the frame that sits into the base.It comes with plastic screws, a plastic screwdriver and little plastic two sided disk feet to stick it to the floor. I wouldn’t recommend sticking it to hardwood floors as the adhesive may damage it, but I have it on a vinyl floor.I’m blown away at the amount of thought put into this product. I was excited to put it together for my cat. He’ll me know how he feels about it when he wakes up from his nap.And!! You can purchase the refill boards separately too!! Wow.

This scratching post was really easy to assemble and the box keeps the trash in. My favorite feature is that once one side was scratched beyond use I flipped it and got more use out of it.My cats like to out their weight into scratching and this box has held up. It's held up to use from two adult cats for about a month before I had to turn the board.

This is a great scratching post for the price. Really easy to put together. The cardboard does shred, but it is what I expect for the price point.

Great product, my kitten loves using it for scratching and biting as well first thing when he gets up from his nap. Great for a teething kitten.Was easy to assemble and looks neat as well.
