My dog uses this everytime she needs to go out or anything else... lol. We taught her everytime we need to go potty we would press the buttom and within 5 times she got it down. She stomps on the button with her paw because it's in the ground. Might need a dog to boop it with its nose if on wall works great and can be very loud

Thought the button would be a sensitive one for the dog to brush his nose on. But this one you have to really put effort into pushing it. My dogs have to use his paw with this one but the are both large dogs and end up knocking the button down lol we tried *shrug*

The product is great, it works well and stands up to be outside (under a patio roof). The only problem is my cat is too stupid to lean how to use it. Every so often I think my Siamese is catching on, but then I see it was stepped on by mistake while playing with a bug or running around the furniture. If your animal has more brain cells this doorbell is a great idea.

This doorbell is the best purchase we made when we got our new lab puppy. we live in a BI level home, which is very hard for a dog to go to the front door to let us know it needs to go out because we cannot see our front door from our living space. So we decided to buy the doorbell, we put it downstairs in the basement at the door to the backyard, trained her on it a few times for her to push it, and that was it. Now she is almost 2 years old and still uses it every single time that she needs to go outside. The functionality is perfect. The doorbell is plugged in upstairs to make noise and the button for her to push to go out is downstairs. She hits it. The doorbell goes off upstairs and we know she needs to go out. The installation was very easy. The sticky sticker that goes on the back of the doorbell stuck to our glass sliding door without a problem. We actually had moved it a couple of times as she got taller and it still sticks without a problem. With her nails scratching it when she pushes it, it has held up and still looks perfect.

Although it functions extremely well, my dog doesn’t understand what I’m trying to get her to do. The other problem is she’s very petite. I think the fact that she’s only about 10 pounds, does not help. So I’m reusing it to put next to my dad’s bed when he visits. If he needs me, he can push it.It is a little hard to push for a small dog or cat….A 20 pound TRAINABLE dog should be able to handle it without a problem

Still working with my dogs to get them to use this however, I noticed it does not ring flawlessly every time the button is pushed. Sometimes needs a 2nd push

Nice solid doggie door bell. opted to keep on the floor so it was easier for our 6 month old standard poodle to hit with his paw. snout training was not working for us. After putting on the floor, he learned in 2 days!

This works great! Our dog is small, but he can work it easily and he trained quickly. It's sturdy as well!
