I read all instructions prior to starting my project which was an 8 x 10 patio. I power washed it for over an hour and a half. It wasn’t really soiled. I just wanted to do a thorough job. I let that dry then I applied the edger per manufacturers directions, and scrubbed it in with the bristle brush, let’s sit and then rinsed stuff and let Dry. And then use the sprayer and then circular motions saturate at the patio, and as I noticed, starting to dry the majority of areas, the stain was disappearing before my eyes I reapplied those areas and the same thing happened. I was pretty disappointed, for I’m not used to failing on my projects that I undertake, I’m not gonna say this is a bad product. I’m going to say that it just didn’t work for me.

I’ve experienced the use of other brands of concrete acid and was relieved when purchasing this brand due to its false advertising, claiming you could mix the ratio agent up to 8 times (complete falsehood) even at 1x mix ratio this brand was a terrible experience. The pigment was old and had become like gravel. Yes I’m well aware of shake throughly before use instructions however even if I would have put this product in a blender and shook this product for an hour. I still would had to have stopped my project not twice but three times to travel to the nearest hardware company twice and buy 2 new sprayers and then eventually purchasing paint filters to line the pour spout in order to catch the non-dissolvable gravel pigment shipped to me in the form of concrete acid. I’m truly disappointed in this product. I really had high hopes in this brand and had bragged about its claims before I tried using it (bad idea)!!! I would like my money back but time lost trying to recoup a good outcome is unfortunately in the hundredths $$$

The one piece of instruction not clearly stated about this color stain and the other stains is that they do not work like paint. Once a stain is used, you can not go over it with a different color stain to make it lighter or darker. The stain chemically reacts with the concrete and consequently prevents further reactions with subsequent stains. Over all, we were not happy with the results.
