This is a nice case and worked for what I wanted, but for the price it should be more heavy duty.

Very nice and sturdy hard case. I like the size, it perfectly fits my needs, the inside has a nice cushion foam and will keep anything protected. The plastic feels durable and it has holes for padlocks too. The case is water and weather resistant, so it gets you covered for most kind of situations. Pretty good!

Start off with the thing I like the most, the case is made in Texas. It's a medium sized case about the size of the average briefcase. It's light, I don't know how heavy duty or crush resistant it is. I wouldn't throw it from a second story window onto pavement or try to run over it, but it feels durable enough to protect whatever you put inside it from regular to moderate abuse of everyday life.If you're just using it to move stuff from point A to point B during a regular day, I can't see any issues as far as it doing it's job. If instead you're planning on using it to trek through a rain forest and protect gear for a few months...I might pick something more heavy duty. That is actually water proof and crush proof. The product listing does clearly state it's crush resistant and water resistant, though.

The case is strong on the outter edge but is a lot weaker in the middle. This is to be expected if the inside is hallow. With that said, I wish the material is thicker and even have the hex pattern to offer more protection (especially for the price). With that said, the case does not protect well from impacts to the middle of the case for example. It comes with 3 layers of foam inside. This is where cutting the foam correct can help as the form will provide the additional protection to the items stored inside. The 2 egg shells might be the top and bottom, and the 3rd flat layer might be used in the middle to offer more protection from impacts to the middle/sides.For my use case, I wanted to store a projector but it's just a bit thicker than the 3.73" inside depth of the case, so I couldn't use it for now.The 2 sides appear to mate well when closed, but it's not perfect. So don't expect water-tight seal when this is closed.Overall recommend this case for anything you can fit inside. This is a storage/travel case to carry value items and the case offers convenience as a carrying case (with handle) with some protection. This product at this price point could work well in many applications.

This case is a good cheap solution to transporting my handgun. I would like to highlight DO NOT store your guns in a case, as it will trap moisture and rust. These are for transporting them.The double sided tape included for taping the foam down was not very good, but overall should not pose a huge issue in usability. The foam feels a lot less premium to other cases but that's to be expected at this price point. I wouldn't say heavy duty describes this item as in the product listing, but it's good enough for point A to point B, I would be looking at a different case if you're going places where it might get beat up a bit.

I'm pretty happy with this hard case considering the price. Its a good value for what you get. Especially if you just want a basic case to carry/store firearms. I use it to store my CO2 BB-gun. This case is certainly large enough to carry two full-sized handguns and maybe a couple mags.The case comes with a sticker (from a brand nobody will recognize) and some double sided tape so that the foam can be secured in place. The foam does not come attached in case you want to use the case without the foam. This may be a good thing if you don't need the foam, or an extra step if you do need it. But its very easy to apply the double sided tape to keep the foam in place.The overall construction of the case is quite good. I do not feel any binding or rubbing when opening or closing the case which is a good sign. There is also holes for a padlock so that the case can be locked. The diameter of the holes are large enough for most small padlocks or combination locks.My only complaint about this case is that the plastic housing itself is not super thick or rugged. Many similar cases such as Nanuk use much thicker plastic, offering increased impact protection. This case is relatively thin. For that reason, I would not suggest using this case for flying with a firearm or any sort of security purposes. The case could easily be opened when locked using a knife. This is more of a storage case, not a security case.One final note is that there is no water/gas seal on this case. It is not waterproof. It may likely offer some water resistance from rain and splashes, but it will fill with water if submerged. If you need a waterproof case you will have to shop for the more rugged "storm cases".Overall its a good case for what it is. It is a very reasonable price and offers sufficient protection for your valuables. It is by no means a high security or rugged case, but it is perfect for storage.

The case, by itself, is light. Any significant weight will be from what you put in it rather than the case. The foam inserts are NOT attached to the top and bottom of the case but include double sided adhesive tape to attach or not attach as desired. There are three foam inserts, one flat and two 'egg-carton' inserts. These give a lot of variation and versatility to the case allowing you to customize it to your needs. The latches are strong and there are holes for a locking mechanism next to each latch. The holes to not appear to be wide enough for standard padlocks, but for locks with a thinner hasp or a wire-lock would work.
