Purchased to plug in 20 amp inflatable spa into my 30 amp plug, and to use when camping to plug in my second A/C into the 30 amp plug at the R/V site (and plug my 30 amp R/V plug into the 50 amp service with another adapter. Yeah, in Florida I should have got the 50 amp R/V with two A/C's). Anyways, works great. It doesn't heat up and the pull handle is nice.

Works as it should. Have a 30 amp outlet but not a 15 amp at the side of the house. This fit the bill. Feels sturdy and well built.

I purchased this adapter last year for an open frame Champion 4000 Watt Digital Hybrid generator. Due to recent ice storms we lost power off and on for a week. This adapter worked great for hooking up the fridge inside our house to the RV outlet and keeping it running. No issues with the adapter getting hot, no abnormal issues with the rubber feeling loose or weak from extended use or the cold weather. Overall the adapter performed up to expectations during almost 5 days of off and on use. The finger hole is a nice plus for unplugging the adapter easily, every time. Highly recommended.

There's nothing wrong with these adapters but it's not weather resistant rated. This style of cord where it's flat with 3 wires side by side is meant for indoor applications typically found in clothes dryer cords. For weather resistant adapters you'll want these same branded conntek 15315 (50amp to 30amp) & 15200 (15 to 30amp) for RV applications. Also the flat cord doesn't allow side to side bending so depending on the situation it may be hard to manipulate the adapter for your needs.

Exactly what I needed to convert a 30 amp 125 volt receptacle for use with a standard 15 amp extension cord. This will be used for emergency use with a generator.
