I love the materials and quality of the craftsmanship. This is not a cheap feeling coat at all. The length of the coat and the distance it reaches down the sides of my 58 lb Doberman mix are perfect. The chest area fits in the right place and it's relationship to the neck hole doesn't restrict his movement at all. This is a size Large. The two issues I have:1) The chest strap wasn't quite long enough. With it extended as far as it goes, it was VERY night on my pup. He wore it around the house that way for a bit and we took pictures, but I felt like he needed more room. Before we wore our coat the next time, I grabbed an old buckle collar and used it as an extender (taping up the extra length with electrical tape). This seems to made my pup more comfortable even though it was a single extra inch that he really needed.2) O am pretty sure the elastic in the back of the coat is meant to put the dog's hind legs through to hold the coat over his back. Though the elastic is not tight, I could tell by the way my pup was walking that he didn't love it. Dogs with this hair would probably be chaffed by this. I went back and looked at the pictures for the item listing and the dog in the picture does not seem to have the elastic on him. In one of the pictures, it looks like the elastic has somehow been attached under the dog's stomach. I might need to rig a clip system to do something similar for my dog.The quality and style of the coat makes it worth it to me to make some alterations, but I do wish there was more adjustment in the strap for the chest. You only have an inch or two of play.

This is a well-made, puffy jacket for dogs. I got this for a medium-sized Pitbull. And it fits her very well. I'm not really a fan of the back legs. They just have a very small elastic that might cut in, so I would probably use it without those. I'm going to attach the belt around the entire jacket and go from there. The seams on this item are all nice and smooth, no irregularities. The same is to be said with the filling with no obvious lumps or clumping. And the material is a nice lightweight nylon that feels waterproof and water just rolls off of the edges of it. I'm not sure about long-term rain, but looks like it would help the puppies in a little sprinkle. And it looks very washable, with the proper washing instructions of course.

This is a well-made fleece lined puffer coat for larger dogs. The strap to secure the jacket is nicely adjustable with an easy to use clip. I got this jacket in black because the dog it's for is red. The jacket looks really cute with the fur-lined collar. The outer layer should block the wind quite nicely.

This is a decent dog coat. To find the right size, I compared the measurements of this jacket to others that my dog has. I found the Large size a bit big on him, but that is the smallest available. The chest was OK because I could adjust the strap. The Large measurement says 15" length... the actual length is 14" from the neck piece... maybe it's the way it's worn, but it seems a bit long on him. That's OK because he's just had a haircut and is loving the extra length/coverage. Easy to put on and take off. Leg straps help hold it along the back. Love the furry collar. Overall, a nice coat for winter!

To put the jacket on, you put the dogs head through the lined collar, then put light elastic bands around the back legs. At that point you can fold the front against the chest between the front legs and secure it with the adjustable strap. Once put on, you can immediately feel the warmth of the dog. The coat is well insulated. It takes a little cooperation from the dog, but once fitted, it leaves the dog free to run and play outside. The coat is machine washable, making it very practical. In terms of sizing, the "large" size fits a medium sized dog, but it is too small for my 43 pound standard poodle. I will need an "X large" for him. I am very pleased with this product, but clearer guidance on sizing should be given for people who only have one dog.

Got this for my 10 month old bully puppy. He hates the cold and this was the best option. He's about 90 plus pounds and the coat fit him great! He still has a bit of room to expand into. It was easy to put on and clip and keeps him very warm. It's a must have for dogs who don't enjoy the cold.

When picking the size, I based my decision on the size chart displayed. My dog measured with a chest size of XXXL, a length of XXL, and was in between sizes for the neck. I went with the XXXL to ensure it would actually buckle. The jacket looks nice, and I absolutely love how it secures with a buckle instead of Velcro, making it easier and quicker to put on. I am also very pleased with the chest piece; it is snug enough to prevent drooping or sagging and does not interfere with his movement. When I first put it on him indoors, he was very relaxed and able to comfortably rest, eat, and walk around, despite the jacket being quite long. However, I should have gone with the smaller size because the back extends past his tail and covers his hind end, which is problematic when he needs to go number two. I put the coat on him to keep him dry and warm in the cold rain, but I had to take it off for him to potty. The jacket stays in place while walking or indoors without the leg straps, but when running and jumping, it flips up and folds at the waist, leaving his back exposed.Another thing to consider is that the leash hole is small and located high on the back/neck, which seems more suited for use with a collar rather than a harness that has a leash attachment lower on the back ( what we use ).Overall, I think it’s a great price, it looks nice, and he appears comfortable in it, but the length will be an issue for my dog unless it’s hemmed or altered. I would suggest paying close attention to the length to avoid being in the same situation. I really do love the look and how easy it is to buckle it and get out the door, so I am considering ordering another one in the XXL.
