  • Multiple uses: low temperature welding core wire can be widely used in electricity, chemistry, food use, etc., argon arc welding and filling material practical repair rod, suitable for aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, galvanized cast iron, high-strength copper.
  • No need for welding powder: The multifunctional copper-aluminum welding wire is practical and easy to use, with internal powder, melting point of 380-400 degrees Celsius, low temperature, no need to use other flux powder as the welding core and coating as the base.
  • Good performance: Using powder core design, the copper-aluminum welding rod has good forgeability, conductivity and corrosion resistance, which can provide you with a smooth welding effect, suitable for home and professional maintenance work.
  • Size information: The general low temperature welding core wire is about 2 mm / 0.08 inches in diameter and 33 cm / 13 inches in length. The size is appropriate to reduce waste.
  • Aluminum welding rods can repair or manufacture almost anything made of aluminum, pot metal or galvanized steel, as well as heterogeneous welding between the above metals, even for white metals that are severely corroded or contaminated by oil. You can repair ships, trails, storm doors, drains, antiques, tools, condensers, molds, rims, air conditioning lines, etc.

Instructions for use of aluminum welding wire
Step 1: Physically clean the polished surface.
Step 2: Heat the surface of the base material to the temperature of 380-400degree centigrade on the welding line at the welding place, so as to form the welding with the thermally conductive welding line of the base material. Do not burn the wires with flames. Only when the surface temperature of the substrate is sufficient, the wires can flow into the metal capillary well.
Step 3: When repairing relatively thin aluminum materials, heat the aluminum-based material to a suitable working temperature, and then friction and melt back and forth to form a welded joint. Only metal brushes are used for filler welding to form a weld.
Step 4: Use propane gas to weld shopping mall objects, use industrial gas or induction heating device to heat and weld large objects, and cool down naturally and slowly after welding.

Specification:
Color: as shown
Material: copper and aluminum
Size: 0.08 x 3 inches
Melting point: 380-400 degree centigrade
Quantity: 20PCS

The package includes:
20 x copper-aluminum welding rod

Pay attention to details in operation
1. The metal surface of the base must be cleaned. Clean immediately and solder immediately.
2. The temperature of the base metal should reach 400 degrees Celsius, including the temperature of the base metal during the welding process should be maintained at a temperature of 400 degree centigrade, the temperature can be high or low.
3. Avoid using flames to intentionally burn the welding line. After the substrate temperature reaches 400 degree centigrade, the welding line naturally depends on the thermal conductivity of the base metal.

thought this was a cheap alternative to alumaloy filler. this stuff is just plain soldering rod from what i can tell.. flows like crap. takes a ridiculous amount of heat as well.. might as well tig weld the part.

Works better on thin materials, but not all metal types.

First off I actually am a welder.. have been for 45 years.. kept seeing ads for this stuff and decided to give it a try.. now I TIG weld aluminum every single day except some weeks I take Sunday off... this stuff is absolutally a total scam, no it will not fuse soda cans at low heat nor will it create unbreakable braze like joints with copper radiators or steel.. it is simply aluminum rod with no form of flux etc.. so when you actually attempt to heat those soda cans the oxygen in the air causes them to oxidize at an accelerated rate, there is zero bonding of this rod and the parent metal the rod simply blobs up onto itself and the soda can collapses in on itself as the oxidation created from the flame causes rapid decay....
