I got this item because - much to my dismay - I was having a problem with persistent rats in my garage. This copper mesh roll has proven to be a reliable option for sealing off holes in my home. The roll is quite large, offering plenty of material to work with, and it’s simple to cut into the needed size. I used it to block several entry points around the foundation, and it has worked well in keeping rodents out. The copper material is a definite upgrade over steel wool, as it doesn’t rust over time, making it a long-lasting solution.The package also comes with a set of scissors and a wooden tool to help get the mesh into tight spaces, which is a thoughtful touch. The mesh is easy to manipulate, and I haven’t had any issues with sharp edges. Overall, it’s an affordable and effective option for critter control, and I’m happy with my purchase.

This copper mesh is perfect for filling openings that rodents can slip through. It doesn’t degrade like steel wool. It also can be used to wrap around PVC To keep squirrels from chewing or spread across and stapled to wood beams to keep the little buggers from accessing attic space.

This was much cheaper than the equivalent from Home D. Much more than I needed, but I'll have it for next time. Nice to include scissors with it.

Pros:- Does a great job of filling rat and mouse holes. Just bunch it up and stuff the hole, and rodents will have a very hard time pulling it out without hurting themselves and getting discouraged.- The copper material is way better than normal steel wool, which tends to rust with time. Copper is a very durable and basically rustproof material.- It's a pretty large roll at 32 ft, which filled all the holes in my house with about half the roll leftover.Cons:- None.Pro tip:- For extra staying power, using a caulking gun to put some silicone inside the copper mesh. I have used these for hobby making bags for stones, and trinkets. They work great for stuffing entries areasinto our RV (piping, wiring, & any other holes), holes in siding of house, & shop. Keep out dirt dobbers , mice, squirrels, etc...

Works, and the scissors are a great selling point. They work perfectly for this mesh. We are using the mesh to stop up holes in the new shed, to keep out the birds and bugs.

Huge roll. Comes with scissors and a wooden flat tool for tight crevices. I used this in conjunction with expansion foam to keep out mice. Worked well so far. Leaves lots of small short pieces when cutting so beware.
