Installed this product on the ALl Pro heater and so far not sure why the heater shuts downs. I believe there is another problem with the heater that I have solved yet.

My problem is the thread going into the gas valve is larger than the old one. My heater from1997 has the same part number but will not screw in. I disassembled everything and then I measured the threads. The old one was 8.34mm and the new one was 8.59mm, it was too large to screw in. All that work for nothing, so I put a regular thermocouple in. I will just need to be in the room in case the fan gives out and it over heats. If you have an old one like mine, ask the seller about the size. I don't know if the threads are SAE threads and the new one is metric. It looks well made I just wished it worked
