Easy to use great battery life for this price point you typically get disappointed here because good cells are usually at a higher premium and for this price I am impressed for what it is is.The weight of tool and battery when in use is good decent quality plenty for what you would want to work around in your in home shop. With out a actually battery tester or tare down its not easy to confirm the battery ah lets say its half the claimed even then at this price its still a buy.

Tired of the hassle of the corded grinder cut-off wheel? Me too.I'm glad to see this item come along, it's a terrific kit with two batteries.I have a pile of cut-off wheels for my old corded took, but they are all 4 1/2 " so they won't fit this battery model. Just have to buy some 4", or I will try adding a larger wheel guard to this one and use some arbor spacers to adapt the 7/8 arbor wheels to this 3/8" tool.Nice tool. Hope it holds up.

There's something I can't stress enough, if you plan on ordering one of these. And you're going to want to order this one, because it's actually really decent for the low asking price its set to. But make sure that you take all safety precautions before using it. That means 1. good eye protection, 2. a mask for all the metal dust or other microscopic debris floating in the air that you may not be able to actually see. People take for granted what's in the air when you use it to cut through metal, strip a surface, or otherwise polish something down. This isn't really what you want for commercial purposes. So if you know someone that's a builder or remodeler, and they'll probably use one of these often, this may not be for you. Because in that case, you want something with a brushless motor. This doesn't have a brushless motor. Long story short, a brushless motor will last longer, so the tool will last a long time. This one just isn't going to last as long as a brushless. Which is perfectly okay, given it's price very low. A power tool plus TWO batteries for under sixty bucks? That's just a good deal, even if it only lasts a year.I will be using this infrequently. I did find it easy to use, and it works just as your typical low-budget angle grinder would. It's not too heavy, easy for me to handle. With regards to cutting ability, it works just fine with a cutting disc. I had a fancy new padlock on one of the sheds on our property. I still have no idea what happened to the keys for it, but the short version is that we had no way of opening the lock anymore. The way the lock is designed, and the locking area, you can't use bolt cutters. I tried out this angle grinder, and it made short work of the lock. So for occasional use, it does get the job done.I'm not giving this five stars in comparison to other angle grinders. Yes, there are much better angle grinders on the market. I'm giving it five stars because you're getting a good power tool with two batteries for the PRICE it's set at. At the moment, it's only $54.99. So at that price, this is a decent product. Worth five stars given the low cost.

You might think that because this is a battery grinder is not as powerful as an electric one, well let me tell you I have an electric Makita grinder and I understand this cordless grinder has more power than the electric one. The quality of the materials from which is made are excellent. you can have this feeling when you handle this grinder. It comes with the grinder protector, with the adjusting tool a pair of 18V batteries and fluffy but sturdy bag for storage. Excellent economic price.

This came with a carry bag that I wasn't expecting, but it's awesome as it's not too big, but big enough to fit both batteries, the charger, and the grinder and everything that it came with in the bag. That's a big plus to me. The grinder has more power than I was expecting. It's not the quietest tool, but no noisier than any of my other electric plug-in grinders. I wish it had come with a grinder wheel or two as well, but I should have some laying around here to be able to connect to it soon and try it out on an actual project. The other day I was trying to cut some cable out in the woods and really wished for something like this. It's going to be a huge help for those off-grid projects. The batteries seem pretty heavy duty and are fairly large as well, so shouldn't have any problems getting good use out of it in between charges.

What should other customers know? Well, for me it is that this is a 4" grinder, and not 4 1/2", so my 4 1/2" wheels I use on my corded grinder will not fit. Even if you take off the guard, the 4 1/2" won't work. This grinder uses a smaller 1/2" arbor. Unfortunately, this revelation did not come to me until I was on the job site. Aside from that, this is a nice cordless grinder. I like that it comes with two batteries. What I found interesting is that when you release the trigger, the tool stops pretty much instantaneously. Unlike my corded grinder that continues to spin, and I have to be careful putting it down for fear of marring whatever it sits on. This may be due to it being brushless. In any event, I like it.
