MEASURING FOR INSIDE MOUNT WINDOW BLINDS
Find Width:
Measure exact distance from inside window opening at the top,
middle, and bottom, and use the narrowest width deduct 1/4" as the shade width.
Find Height:
Measure exact distance from inside window opening from top side to sill,
and use the longest height as the shade height.
To install the product flush with the window frame,
a minimum window depth of 2.5inch is required.
MEASURING FOR OUTSIDE MOUNT WINDOW BLINDS
Find Width:
Measure exact distance between the outermost points where the blind is to be placed.
This measurements should overlap each side of window frame by 1.5- 3inch.
Factory makes no deduction from your blind width dimensions.
Find Height:
Measure exact distance from where top of blind will be located to top of sill.
If there is no sill or if shade is to overlap window frame, measure to point blind to reach.

This was a great purchase and blown away with the customer service. I knew this was coming from China so I wasn’t expecting much. I made my measurements and hit the purchase button. Within two days I got a text from the manufacturer doubling checking the measurements and sending a photo of the materials. This is a made to order purchase, so I was happy they did that. The texts came in at odd hours due to the time difference, but it was great to get that kind of attention. Product came in a week early and fit perfectly. The installation couldn’t have been easier. Very well made….. Really happy with this.

Update:The company has replaced the shade and it’s a perfect match. I really appreciate their responsiveness and willingness to make it right. Great business practices. I can confidently recommend them.I’m currently waiting to see if this company takes responsibility and corrects the issue. So far they’ve given me pushback.I ordered the white option. The shade I received is poor quality. The paint job on the bamboo is blotchy and looks very unprofessional—which is disappointing because I’ve ordered from this company before and the shade was very nice. It seems like they may have an issue with quality control. This product definitely does not reflect the quality represented in the listing photo. So far the company seems unwilling to rectify the issue stating the inconsistency is because bamboo is a natural product. Yes, a natural product that has a poor paint job.

This bamboo blind is well made. The support of the people who make this product is excellent. They will text you back and forth to make sure all measurements are correct before they go ahead with making the product. The people are extremely polite and give a good sense that they care about getting it right for you. It arrived safely and in good condition. The added black out material does an excellent job, however, it does make the blind a little bulkier which is understandable. It was easy to hang and the cordless mechanism works great. We needed two people to hang it since it was a large one. Does the trick in the heat in my state and keeps my daughter's bedroom nice and dark and cool so she can sleep comfortably.

You know it can be stressful, trying to figure out window treatments. It’s hard to throw down a lot of money for real specific measurements that you may or may not mess up for a product you’ve never seen. But these guys make it absolutely easy and affordable with a gorgeous solution. we started putting these bamboo roller shades in one of our guest units a couple years ago and had such a great experience with the ordering process and customer service that I was sold immediately. Of course, the shades are beautiful and well constructed and made to order now we’ve outfitted an entire second home, and the window treatments in our personal office. As well as recommended these two friends and neighbors. Very happy that these guys exist and highly recommend that you order through them.

We needed an outdoor shade to block the afternoon sun. Because we were able to order the shade to an exact width, we were able to get a perfect fit for the space between two columns of our outdoor space. It is beautiful, well made, and came exactly as we ordered. It filters the light while still allowing you to see through it.One word of advice: The company will send you an email confirming your order dimensions and options. You need to respond to this email before they will begin production, so don't ignore it. They had to pester me to confirm and that delayed production by a couple of days.

This is the third or fourth order I have placed for Passenger Pigeon blinds over the past two years. In all I have bought them for ten windows; 9 were inside mount, 1 outside mount. This most recent order was delivered on 7/24/21.I continue to be impressed by these blinds. They look beautiful and are EXACTLY as described. They do a fabulous job of filtering out the light (seven of them keep out the brutal afternoon sun on west-facing windows). You see the brightness of the sunlight on the shades, yet you avoid the solar greenhouse effect since the sun's rays do not penetrate into the room. As is mentioned in the written description, these blinds do NOT give total privacy since at night it is possible to see into the building from outside. This is not a factor for us so we bought them. My wife likes to drop the blinds down at night not because she expects total privacy but rather because she looks at the warm color of the bamboo shades rather than at the open expanse of black glass in the windows.If you follow the directions for customizing your order on the website, you can count on the fact that your blinds will be made EXACTLY 0.4" narrower than the width that you give them for your window. Probably the only thing I would do differently if I were to order them again is that for the OUTSIDE mount shades, I would not allow quite so much extra length and width. If you are in doubt about an outside mount, I would encourage you to contact the company directly to discuss things before you place your order.Installation of the blinds is pretty straight forward. The directions are clear and good quality hardware is provided.
