I ordered this trimmer for minimal job in trimming weeds along the side of my fence and it performed just fine! It looks great and it really made trimming in the hard to get to areas a lot easier than my manual hedge clipper or my larger trimmers. The quality and result after using the trimmer in the hard to get to the area was impressive. The initial setup out of the box was very simple with great instruction on how to use the trimmer. As a precaution, I charged the battery for about an hour before using it, and it worked fine. Switching between the grass shear and shrubbery trimmer was easy—just push the blade release button!I really like the light weight and the grip of the trimmer which makes it easier to handle. This is particularly nice because my hands sometimes get tired using heavier, more powerful trimmers. One last thought—the trimmer is relatively quiet, and the safety lock gives me peace of mind that my grandkids won’t accidentally hurt themselves.I think it's a great value for small jobs.

I got this small hedge trimmer because I only have a hefty plug-in one, and I often don’t need a large bulky tool. Judging by the product page, the size of this product was ideal for me to do small touch-ups on shrubbery and thorn bushes. Unfortunately, after charging it up and giving it a try, I found that it is pretty underpowered. It is really only capable of cutting smaller branches and leaves. Anything smaller than about 3/16 of an inch is generally OK, but anything that size or bigger will stop this trimmer. For this reason, I think a 3 star rating is fair.

The HOA gardeners in my community do the bare minimum—grass gets cut, leaves get blown, and the bushes and plants are left to grow wild until someone finally decides to trim them down every few months. Meanwhile, I’ve been trying to keep things under control around my patio with shears, but that’s been a losing battle. This cordless hedge trimmer changed everything. I shaped up the overgrown bush in front of my window in half the time it would’ve taken me with shears, and it actually looks good instead of just… hacked at. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and powerful enough to make quick work of overgrown branches. Now, I don’t have to wait around for the gardeners to do a mediocre job—I can keep things looking neat whenever I want.

This is my first experience, using a handheld edger with a USB-C charger. I have plenty of cordless tools that have an external battery that recharges, but nothing with an internal rechargeable battery. It doesn’t have the power of say DeWalt 20 volt, handheld hedger. With that being said, there’s a trade-off between lightness and performance. This is extraordinarily light. It does cut through small branches weeds vines. If it goes to anything too thick, it does stop. If you need something that’s very light. This would be an option for you, if you need something heavy duty, this is not the right option. Even with the benefits of being light, I do think it’s overpriced at $40, I don’t find that a great value. I like that it has both a hedgers and shears that are interchangeable. Just so you know what you’re getting.
