Simply place the corner chisel in any recess or corner, tap with a hammer or mallet (neither are included) and remove any waste so you are left with nothing but a clean, sharp, smooth inside corner. Designed to create a 3/8” square corner in hinge recesses, door lock recesses, wood flooring stock, picture frames and a whole lot more. This tool helped square the inside corner of the half lap joints on the sidewalk signs we made for our son's brewery tasting room. It made the signs look professional.

Once again, you got what you pay for...The chisel is not well made, so I had to take it apart first and regrind, before using (see pic).After that, it works fine and makes nice corners.

Use this for finish carpentry, lost my porter cable and tried this for cheaper option. It is very sharp and sturdy, but the milling on the block is a 1/64 off, so I need to clean up one edge by hand. If you are installing a lotOf hardware it’s worth it to buy the more expensive porter cable, or maybe file down this one so it’s perfect. Gets the job done

I misplaced the corner chisel I have had for about 20 years and looked everywhere locally for a new one. I was not able to find one, most people hadn't even heard of them. I went to Amazon to find one and was glad to finally have it arrive. It worked wonderfully to install hinges on the doors for a home I am renovating.
