This Stanley wood chisel is razor sharp. The metal blade tang goes through the handle and ends in a metal striking cap. Made in England. Perfect for general woodworking.

Very nice everyday chisel. It holds an edge for nearly a week with everyday use and bonuse, it’s made in England!! Not China! I know, right?! A Stanley tool that’s not Chinese! Buy two. If you get one made in China, Send it back and demand an English made model!

Broke after a week of moderate use while in my tool bag. Total junk. I did have a 1.25" version of this chisel preform better before I bought this one.

A good cheap chisel. Not really sharp out of the box, but it works very well for the price once it is sharpened properly.
