Cannot set up and use since according to the instructions a piece is missing. Also the instructions themselves are confusing.

I use these for when I go to a bay pier and fish. It's always nice to have a few crab traps out so I can maybe get some Dungeness for dinner as well. They are easy to use and come with the measurement ruler as well.

However difficult to understand/follow instructions ... Still struggling as it still does not seem to be quite right and that is wdirections! men who actually tried to follow the directions!

this trap is a different style than I am used to but it seems well built and well thought out . the kit comes with almost everything you need minus the bait . most of the crabs I have caught using either a net or pyramid shaped trap . this trap is easy to set and you can use it in many more places . I like that it comes with a guide for measuring the crabs as well as the colorful float to let you know when the trap is tripped . .

This definitely comes in handy when looking for crabs. We always go crabbing at Corpus Christi. We had a trap but someone had broken it trying to steal our crabs. So this came in the nick of time. It’s just the right size. We will have to get another floater for the crab traps. It even has a measuring tool for the size of your crabs. This definitely comes in handy.

The traps worked very well. It was a breath of fresh air when I caught my first crab after multiple failed attempts with another type of trap. Unfortunately, it was very hard to figure out how to properly bait the trap. The instructions doesn't explain. However, once I figured it out, it's been great!

The cage is easy to bring to the water since its foldable. The cage works great and is easy to put bait in it. Its also very sturdy and does not break easily in strong currents.
