I bought this because of the styling, which is pretty cool. Unfortunately, the light in the first button I purchased stopped working within a few months. I bought a second button (for way too much by the way) but the light on it stopped working within a couple of weeks. I guess if you don't care if the light works it's fine but I would not recommend it.

I bought two to replace the mismatched and broken ones on our new house. They are great! Easy to install and I love that they a lighted. They make a great statement. I would definitely recommend pre-drilling the holes for the screws. I knew I should have but didn’t and it worked fine for three of the screws but then I ended up stripping the last screw. Learn from my silly mistake and pre-drill your holes.

First one purchased malfunctioned (no light). Manufacturer replaced with no hassle. Second one is satisfactory.

This is a high quality doorbell button. A neat feature of this doorbell button Is that you can make it either lighted or unlighted by switching the lead wires on the terminals. I am well satisfied.
